Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff and breakfast were really good, but too many problems The staff and breakfast were great, but there were a lot of issues with the room. TV problems, phone problems, internet access problems, refrigerator problems, too few towels. We arrived late at night and the main parking lot was full. They have an overflow parking lot but it was dark and dirty. The place looks ok during the day, but not as good at night. Our first choice in hotels when traveling with the kids is always Holiday Inn Express, and we've always had really great experiences. This experience was just average... July 22, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful surrounds, comfortable accomodations we left the heat of the desert to go to Rancho Bernardo, where the temperatures were in the high 70's and lo 80's. We settled on a room that overlooked a green area with apartment units and on to hillsides of green. Our past experiences all over the world staying mainly in Inter Continental properties but many Holiday Inns in Europe have been very satisfying and enjoyable. We will continue to stay in these properties when they are in the areas we travel . The hotel was completely booked, so there wasn't the flexibility of room choices we have enjoyed in the past but our overall experience was an enjoyable one. July 18, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Value Hotel...with a sleep issues Nice hotel for the value customer service was spot on. The room cleanliness was fine. The beds were a little on the below average scale. Walls are paper thin you can hear a pin drop in the room next door....not to mention the hallways. Room was hot so we had to turn on the ultra loud Ac unit to further compromise our sleep. Hot breakfast was nice and so was the pool. July 16, 2015

I arrived at 2pm and with no where else to go I had to sit in my car with my kids for an hour as the hotel employee would not check me in til 3pm. She was very rude about it to, she just pointed at the check in sign and then went about her business. The rooms were not very clean, and The AC did not work so it was very warm in the room and didnt get much sleep. I had to ask 3 times for a blanket and a plunger for the room. I will not be staying here again.. July 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Had a leak was moved to a another room. The staff was great. The leak had to do with the air conditioning. Didn't charge me extra. Would recommend. Love the pool. And the hot tub. Breakfast was great!!!! Thumbs up all away around!!!! Had different exits, so we didn't have to go through the lobby. Great overall. Worth the price!!!! July 15, 2015

I would've expected some compensation however nothing offered from Hotel other than spraying the ants and cleaning up the room. (Which is the bare minimum of what the Hotel should do.)
