Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Attentive Staff, Clean I like the staff in this hotel. They're very friendly, professional and do their jobs well. The hotel is clean. The location is good for me for business purposes, but in general it's not a great area to walk around in. However, it is only a short drive to other areas including downtown. There is a pretty good restaurant in the hotel across the street. Otherwise not many dinner options. 17 February 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay! I was up in San Jose visiting family and friends. I have stayed here before and I knew I would be out late downtown, enjoying the night life, so I wanted to be close by so I didn't have to drive far. I had a king room that was in a quiet part of the building. Everything was great, and the only thing I would complain about is the view of the wall. This made the room feel much darker than usual, but it also felt very private. I'm sure other guest would complain loudly about that, but you don't stay in a hotel to admire the view if you are out and about. I would stay here again for its location to get to about anywhere in San Jose and beyond. The complimentary breakfast was great! I just brought mine back to the room. 17 February 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The front desk has no idea what service means When you spend 50-100 nights away from home each year, you see a lot of service experiences. This one was abysmal. Most of it relates to the front desk but when you are tired and they make it hard for you to even get to the hotel, that's problematic. I had arrived, my phone was nearly dead, and I was on the escalator to baggage claim. i expressed that. To be told to call back rudely, after I had my bags - which would be 20 min later - I would need to find an outlet to plug in the phone whileI waited for bags. Let's make it harder still. After I called back, it took - you guessed it - 20 min for them to arrive. That very same 20 min. To leave a woman alone at an airport after 11 when you had a chance not to, implies guest safety is not a priority. You cite lost luggage - 3-4 bags out of 100,000 are lost. That can't be a reasonable excuse for a policy. Just a shame. 12 January 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient and close to airport - with some very minor issues. 3 stars doesn't truly reflect our stay: The staff were very friendly and courteous - the lobby re splendid with a fully decorated Xmas Tree, which was a pleasant surprise for our son after a long flight on Xmas Day. Though the shuttle service was down, the hotel paid for the cab ride - all very good and extremely close to the airport (less than a mile from the car rental). The rooms are large but the beds are only doubles not queens? The interior is very clean but the doorways in the hallways are narrow making it inconvenient for wheeling large luggage. The elevator was ...s...l....o....w...for just three floors. 03 January 2015
