Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Check in was not smooth and the heating unit was noisy I arrived at the hotel late Sunday night after a seven hour drive. I walked up to the front desk where the man behind the counter was typing on his keyboard. I stood there for a 15 to 20 seconds and then he finally said, “Checking In?”. I said yes but he did not give me any reply he just kept typing on his keyboard. After about a minute he finally looked up and asked for my name. He found my reservation, got me my keys and sent me on my way. He was not rude but it was obvious that I interrupted something he was working on. I was staying for four nights but he only coded my keys for one night. On Monday night when I got back to the hotel I parked on the lower level which required key access. My key would not work so I had to walk around to the front of the building so I could go in the front door. The woman at the front desk told me that the key had only been coded for one night. She coded the key to cover the remainder on my stay. 13 December 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place, Housekeeping Is Rude Booked a room to stay after a huge party. Arrived late and requested late check out as IHG members, which is 1:00pm. Would have been a wonderful stay had we not been awoken by banging on the door at 9:30am and yelling telling us it's check out time. We kindly explained we had a late check out and went back to bed. I did wonder why she would even be doing so at that time because I always thought standard check out time was 11:00am. Around 11 my fiancé went to grab an item from the car and there was banging on the door again. Before I could open and see if it was the same woman I could hear him tell her we have late check out. At 1. Again. After her banging and yelling for the 3rd time at 12:45pm I had to call and inquire with the front desk who instructed I should have put a do not disturb sign up. I have never had to do so before and such things should be communicated to staff. 11 December 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient Location but Hotel Needs Updating Carpet, fixtures, and feel of the hotel felt old & outdated. Would have really appreciated an indoor pool that didn't close down for the winter. Hotel staff was very friendly & helpful though, & breakfast was great w/ an amazing pancake maker. I chose this location because it was closest to my training conference but wish it had a newer feel & better amenities like other HIEs. 05 December 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst experience in HIE I have a priority member IHE. i read the review before I go there, and unfortunately I and my family had a very bad experience in that hotel and were disappointed from HIE. I never go to the HIE in future. The carpet was very old, the air conditioner was horrible, they haven't changed the filter for years, and my son got sick . the pillow also was very old,... dont recommend to any my friend 03 December 2014
