Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Don't count on internet The internet was virtually absent on the 6th floor. The elevator button also did not work up there. do not know about other floors. Breakfast was good but limited places to sit. There did not appear to be a fitness center and the pool is outside next to the Snuggary (Bar), positive or negative depending on your personal preferences. July 27, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Missing Points for promotion and lots of problems to get my bill on email The staff at night on the check in was great but once I got home and request my bill by email or by fax was never send it even I called many times on July 17th at noon. The guy was rude and I never got my bill. Today Monday Finally I got through the IHG web page my bill and NOW my promotion points "10K the fast way" are not included. These two issues make me feel bad about the service. July 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superb Stay We had a wonderful time on our vacation! Staying at the Holiday Inn Express -Schaumburg made it just a little better! The service was awesome and the staff was friendly and wonderful! The manager Thomas went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave suggestions, directions and even provided transportation to the train station! This wasn't our first stay there.....we loved it before and that is why we came back! Whenever we visit Chicago...this is where we will stay! July 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by On line scheduling This is the second time in just a year, where we booked our stay on-line. Arrived to find the accommodations we though we would have were NOT what the hotel had. They had our double queen room in "Notes" not as the reservation. We had 4 people staying in a single King room. Fortunately at this location, after 15-20 minutes, the staff was able to make some changes and we were very satisfied in the end. NOT a good experience after traveling all day and expecting a good nights rest. Unfortunately we had a VERY similar experience in Williamsburg last summer. EXCEPT we had a King bed and forced 2 roll-away beds in the room. 1 at least there were roll-aways available, HOWEVER, the room was jam packed! Not sure if this is how all IHG guests who are utilizing their rewards are treated or not BUT this has been my experience 2 times in utilizing my rewards. July 16, 2015
