Location is the most important reason to stay for business and leisure.

As the name "express' suggests it is not ostentatious, it has no swimming pool, no fancy dining outlets and other features we don't really need. However all our basic needs are satisfied, and those include a healthy and hearty breakfast and a daily supply of 2 bottles of drinking water # which we find most useful #
The staff are friendly and competent, ie Devi of reception during the day and Dave during the night ...and of course many more whose names we unfortunately cannot remember.
And needless to say ,its location in Bideford Road is ideal ,so convenient in the heart of Orchard Road yet quiet because Bideford Road is actually a side street
I will stay in this hotel. on my next trip if the rates do not go up.

Great location, good hotel - I normally stay a block down at the Holiday Inn but this hotel is for the slightly lower budget and in the the style of USA Holiday Express hotels.
I will be staying here again, I'm sure

this is my 4th time checking into this hotel, i just like the location and easy access to the public transports.
and i am happy to see that there is a fitness center coming up
the only thing that i am looking forward to the variety of the breakfast selection, and the frequency of the food replenishment. it seems like between 730am to 9am is a peak period for the breakfast session and during this time, i can see many food are running out and not being replenished in time, including the milk/coffee beans at the coffee machine.
also, the front desk concierge service, in the morning is always a peak period for cab booking, and i found out they do not inform the cab driver where are the passenger heading to, and perhaps that is one of the reasons many of the cab would not want to take the booking.
Last but not least, there was no reply from the Hotel's Guest Experience Champion on my query of last minute hotel's stay extension, perhaps he was on leave or for some reason the email did not reach him. anyway, the front desk had helped me to extend my stay for another day.
