Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The accomadation (room etc) was fine and much as expected The room was very clean and comfortable. It had WI-FI which we all depend on these days. I was very disappointed the restaurant and food and beverage service though. The restaurant itself was unwelcoming and clinical. the menu was very limited and the food, when it arrived, of very poor quality.I did complain but I felt that the restaurant manager did not take me seriously which did not impress me. I do travel a lot, both home and abroad, maybe I should have mentioned the fact that I am a food professional. Not sure that that would have made any difference though. In the morning I was told that breakfast did not start until 6.30. I asked if I could have some coffee and was directed to the dining room, In fact there was a limited breakfast service. the coffee was very disappointing too. I did inform the desk that they had give me the the incorrect information about the breakfast service in order to help other clients. 27 August 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recommended The room was comfortable and clean and the ensuite had been recently refurbished by the looks if it. Staff were very friendly, especially Omar from the bar that our children loved and he made them feel very special too. Thank you to all the staff! 24 August 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff & Facilities, Poor Quality Bed We found the whole HIE experience good apart from a very uncomfortable bed. Soft & soggy, dipping in the middle. We ended up with 1 in the bed and 1 on the sofa just to get a few hours sleep. Previous visits to other HIE's were good. We did mention our concerns to the Duty Manager. Room 229. 23 August 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was fine Stayed at this particular Holiday inn express a few times and everything is as it should be apart form the breakfast area which is small for the amount of guests. there seems to be a frenzy at breakfast time and the kitchen is not able to keep up to demand. Was not one off it seems to happen every time 23 August 2014
