Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect overnighting Hotel I was between flights so decided to stay at this conveniently located hotel. Shuttle from Stansted was easy to find, frequent and quick. Check in was smooth and the room perfect, quiet, clean and with a huge welcoming bed! The restaurant had enough variety on the menu to meet most travellers needs. Breakfast was a big buffet with lots of hot choices and unlimited quantities. Staff were efficient and friendly and this is the perfect hotel for those needing to stay for airport access. 14 December 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Checking in was very pleasant and professional. I was very disappointed with the room as i have not slept in a single bed for more than 30 years, and therefore did not sleep well at all. The instructions for login to the internet we non existent, and a number of guests were trying to understand what to do. It was not as intuitive as the hotel staff suggested. Although once understood then it was easy. It did take me an hour or more to get the internet sorted out, which is unusual for the Holiday Inn group. Dinner the night before i have to say was very good and the service was very good too. Breakfast was mediocre and it took a long time for chef to top up empty trays. It did strike me that for the number of guests arriving in large numbers every 30 minutes that the reception was considerably understaffed. But i think they did a good job even so. So i have mixed feelings. 09 December 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by frequent visits the hotel seems to change every time we visit; generally for the better, and improvements have made it more homely and welcoming. Any disappointments regards items in the room are dealt with efficiently and curtiously by the staff. 06 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First time visit. Dissapointed was unable to get a meal until the evening. Very reluctant staff member got us sandwiches. Presentation awful sandwiches poor quality. The chicken meal in the evening was bland garlic/mushroom sauce tasted of nothing. As long as you do not wish to eat this is a wonderful place to stay. Noticed a fast food place a little way away but we were tired so not up to the walk. Would happily stay again on way to airport but would bring a picnic hamper. Shuttle bus for airport is very good. 05 December 2014
