Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by this is our hotel of choice when in the south Austin area Very pleased with this hotel. we were here twice on our last trip to Austin. Stayed for a couple of days, then needed to go to a very expensive chain in Austin downtown for a conference, then back for another night. This hotel outshines the expensive chain by leaps and bounds!! Upon check-in greeted with smile and a small token of appreciation for being an IHG club member( the only HIE we've been in that does this). Our rooms are always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and always kept filled. The staff very polite. A bit more pricey than other HIEs , I assume because its in Austin. * The only con is where it is. Not a bad part of town but the drive way sneaks up on you off a busy road just after a curve. It is not well marked. You can see the Hotel from the road but not the driveway till you are on top of it or as you pass it. 16 March 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by NOT HOLIDAY INN QUALITY I thought overall it was not up to the usual quality for Holiday Inns. The staff was not able to get in the closet that kept the babybeds so we had to go buy a playpen. The appearance of the hotel was shabby and the lobby and hallways were small. The price was high for a poor quality hotel. 15 March 2015
