Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Nice handicapped accessible room
I was traveling with my handicapped son and require the room to be accessible which ours was. It was nicely decorated, clean and very roomy which is great when the guest is in a wheelchair. We were disappointed there was not a nice restaurant out front or near by for dinner. More help needed at front desk during checkin hours.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by dyob Decent hotel for a short stay
For the purpose of our trip (two couples in town to attend a Yankees spring training game), we really can't complain about the location (extremely convenient and walkable to the ballpark, as well as to a nearby diner), the price (reasonable for a safe, budget-friendly, name brand hotel), or the amenities (on-site pool, in-room mini-fridge and microwave, decent and varied self-serve breakfast included). Having said that, however, our stay was not without its negatives. The hotel is a little long in the tooth, elevators were out of service twice during our 2-night stay, our weeknight check-in took forever because one poor guy was holding down the reception desk and phones by himself (on what was apparently a very busy week!), and housekeeping was lackadaisical (room was cleaned, but housekeeper did not leave clean washcloths or check/fill empty tissue box).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bernie51 NY Yankee Spring Training fun
This Holiday Inn Express is the perfect place to stay when attending New York Yankees Spring Training games. This is the 6th time that I have stayed here for Spring Training games. General Manager Miosotis Perez greeted me at the lobby. She was very accommodating and helpful when I needed to stay two more nights due to bad weather at home. At the front desk Kaila, Karla ,Leon and Carlos were very helpful. Eva from housekeeping was excellent in cleaning my room. She has cleaned my room in prior stays and she is a gem. The staff for breakfast was hard working and constantly replenished the food counter when needed. My only suggestion is that in the near future this Holiday Inn Express be renovated. It is clean but needs to be updated.

Good visit and very close to Yankee Baseball. Elevators were both broken and staff didn't seems to be concerned.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Baseball Coach 561 Met our needs for a short trip to the Tampa area
My teenage daughter and I had to spend two nights in the Tampa area for a local sporting competition. We selected this hotel primarily due to the price that was offered compared to similar properties in the area. The hotel delivers a basic, clean, comfortable room and a good breakfast at a reasonable cost. Its location is perfect if you are attending Yankee's spring training or a Bucs game, but is out of the way for most other Tampa events. If you are driving it is sort of difficult to find as it is hidden behind a boarded up restaurant.
The only issue that we faced during our stay regarded the two elevators. When they were working (which wasn't always the case; fortunately we could easily hike the stairs) they were extremely slow.
On the positive side, the breakfast was above average for a Holiday Inn Express and it was very convenient that the restaurant opened at 6am on the weekends.

The motel and infrastructure needs updated. I have to write up to 50 characters so I will continue. My point is that I felt the pool was never clean, Pol towels were rarely available. Staff made myself and the other feel like a nuisance.
