It is great that they are a pet friendly hotel, our animals are like our children, they were as welcome as we were. The parking lot is big with many trees to help with shade. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst room This might be the worst room that I have stayed in the US. Room was very musty smelling. Not just a faint odor, but an offensively strong odor. The humidity in the room was so high that the carpet and bed felt wet. No one would. One exam the room. Went to the front desk and was given a key to a second room that was no better. Noticed that when I went out of the hotel and cane back in, there was an odor even in the lobby. There is definitely an HVAC issue with this hotel. Saw it was recently sold. Delayed maintenance? The one night I stayed dave me a horrible sinus headache. Not an issue I usually had. Cancelled my reservation and cancelled a 2nd room that I had reserved for my parents. Went to Similar level hotel in the area and had a wonderful stay. Will never return to this Holiday Inn Express. It makes me question the brand. If I was in the corporate office, I would not want my name associated with this hotel. My guess is that it soon will be unbranded. 31 August 2014
