Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good service and overall good value for money Stayed at the Villages Holiday Inn as it was very close to my aunt and uncle living in the Villages community. Overall our stay was very good. Staff were friendly and did everything well that we could see. Room was as good as could be expected for the price. The bathroom could have been better. Some holes were poorly patched and a few other small details. The food at the breakfast was better than I expected. Overall, good value for the money. 06 December 2014

I picked this hotel because of the location to Spanish Springs Square and it turned out to be the best choice I could of made. The staff was very friendly, I had an excellent housekeeper who did an amazing job cleaning my room everyday, we were there for six days. The hot breakfast items were amazing and the variety was outstanding. We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning "free" and never felt we needed to go some where else. I will definitely stay here again when I come down to visit my parents in the Villages. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable and affordable!! 06 December 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A lot of small annoyances A lot of small disappointments would make this property a place to avoid. There was major repaving taking place, which I understand must take place from time to time. However, signage was missing to redirect. Instead all one encountered was closed areas, cones, and ropes blocking the entrance, requiring an about face and a retry elsewhere. The check in was a bit rough with a new employee- I get that, but not the casual attitude towards not knowing the answer to a question or how to perform a transaction. The room had a musty moldy odor that made for an unpleasant first impression. It never really went away. The wifi was useless and when I was unable to correct and called down to the front desk, all I got was the response "Are you using an Apple Product (iPad, iPhone, Mac, etc)?--we have a lot of problems with Apple Products and people often can't connect. You'll have to call the tech support group. They're the only ones who can help. Two phone calls later I still couldn't log in. I gave up. Using an internet service provider that is not compatible with Apple is unacceptable. On a bright note, the breakfast bar was good as was the selection. Howvever, I don't plan to go out of my way to return to this property. 05 December 2014
