Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Breakfast and Wonderful Staff Just stayed 12 nights and would recommend this property. There is a fitness room and a pool that we made use of however the whirlpool was way too hot so we did not take advantage of it. The breakfast was very good and the variety of food available has something for everyone. It was nice to have a washer and dryer (right across from my room as luck would have it) to do our laundry half way through the trip. I would suggest that they have a few mobile hairdryers as ours was much too hot on high so we had to use the low setting and it took forever to dry our hair. Oh, a very nice touch was the cookies in the lobby in the evenings. We loved coming back after a long day to them. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. We would stay there again!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place near SFMM! This is a perfect hotel to stay at for an extended trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Our room had a view of the whole park, it's so close! The place is great, the food is okay, the pool is clean. No sense staying anywhere else. January 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Top of chain Been to over 20 locations in the last 4 months this is one of the best locations. Typical architecture but clean and modern furniture. Fresh cookies in PM on check in was excellent. Room was well designed with plenty of room for our many pieces of luggage. The front desk staff were very helpful with some issues I raised and were handled without hesitation and to my total satisfaction. Definitely will be adding this location to my travel routing. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Was quiet Do not like reservation service - so became a Walk-in This is difficult as the check in clerks were incredible nice but the check out was terrible After a late stressful 3 hr Los Angeles drive, getting lost leaving the elevator is easy to do -need my GPS -could use better signage as other Holiday Inns do A simple dinner at Denny's required a 20 minute wait with free food for screaming kids made the wait unpleasant, A drive into Santa Clarita was challenging yielded a town full of Malls - Next time we bring survival food and use the microwave. The little freezer was great - BW doesn't offer that option Did not like the extra tax by Santa Clarita plus the premium room charge . Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent place but in need of makeover Staff was very good. Unfortunately one night someone failed to leave the key to the coffee maker for the overnight person. Rooms are very much in need of a makeover but I sense that is coming as a contractor was making his way room to room to take measurements. The selection of yogurt in the breakfast fridge was the worst I've seen in a HIE. And folks, get rid of the deformed hard boiled eggs that are there day after day and for who knows how long! I think the workout room equipment is on it's last legs. The elliptical felt like it had been through a few too many earthquakes. And was purchased mainly because of the low price. Despite some of these issues, I will return. It's just a little too convenient for my work. January 21, 2016
