Great views and location, but uncomfortable bed, sofa bed, lumpy pillows, noisy refrigerator, alarm clock that had been preset at 4 am and could not be turned off even after being unplugged, dated bathroom, etc. Internet is EXTREMELY slow, and you have to log in every day. Unhealthy foods offered for breakfast. Staff was nice and accommodating. 14 November 2014

To my surprise it was an amazing stay and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would defiantly stay again. Thank you! Keep up the work =) 12 November 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A Disappointing Experience My wife and I came to Ventura to visit friends and attend the Seaside Highland Games. We have established some of the IHG brands (Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites) as our hotels of choice and have usually received excellent service. This was not one of those occasions. We had to sit in the lobby until 5:00 PM before our room was ready. No amenities bag was offered. The breakfast fare was skimpy. This particular hotel is at the bottom of the scale in terms of value. As a retired management trouble-shooter for a multi-national corporation, I have always believed that service expectations are established by upper management. This organization has obviously set a very low bar. We'll find different accommodations in the future. 06 November 2014
