Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This hotel has declined rapidly :-( We have been coming to this hotel for 3 years and our latest stay will be the last. Firstly we were greeted by the reception staff who were very friendly however we were shocked to find that we now had to pay for parking but we were offered a free drink voucher for one person (we are a party of 4 so 1 drink voucher isn't that great). When we went to our room we were hit with the most disgusting smell in the stairwell, I can only describe it as drains. The smell also came out of the bathroom sink which then drifted into the bedroom. We missed breakfast on the Saturday and I so wish we had done the same on the Sunday! We came downstairs at 9.45am and every single table was full of dirty pots (only 10 tables were occupied). There were no clean cups, clean glasses, cutlery, beans, bread, sausages, scrambled egg nothing. There were 3 staff working in the dining area and 2 of those had to man the front desk to deal with people checking out. We ask on several occasions for bread and it took 20minutes for somebody to bring the bread out, it was a major disappointment and it was absolutely disgusting. Many other guests were taking photos and complaining and I feel very let down! 23 October 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One night break Arrived at hotel and no wait at reception, room was easy to find and had triple glazing so very quiet. The air conditioning unit would only blow out cold air even when the temperature was set higher, so we turned it off and the temperature was more comfortable! The free wifi is for one device per room, so if you have two tablets and a phone as we did then only one can connect to free wifi. The free wifi is painfully slow as well. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and breakfast was very good with a wide choice. 19 October 2013

I would definitely stay here again and recommend that all Holiday Inn's around the UK follow the same values and processes as this one. 19 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, clean room Warm welcome from efficient staff. The room was excellent with good facilities and free internet access. Housekeeping was of a high standard. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was very good with a great variety of foods, hot and cold but sadly no bacon. There must be a good reason for this. Enjoyed a most relaxing stay. Many thanks to all the staff 18 October 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the usual HIX service Usually cannot fault the Express chain, which I am happy to use regularly around the UK, maybe just an off day at Warwick but staff could not find my booking at check in, took two attempts to issue a wifi code that worked and only one set of towel's for two person twin room, and disappointing that I was asked to take another look around the room when i asked for towels at reception! Otherwise all good. Nice rooms, pleasant location. Will continue to happily use Express chain, just probably not Warwick. 25 September 2013

When it was realised that I had a mobility problem, we were offered and accepted a room with a walk-in shower. Throughout our stay all staff were generally attentive and helpful. Our only concern was that we found the hotel rather difficult to locate at first, thanks to a rather complicated system of roundabouts on the approach to it! 22 September 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding experience Quite a few members of our family stayed for two nights at Warwick Stratford Rd Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. No clue that the M40 is just around the corner. Lovely staff who were helpful in many respects. The staff on the Front Desk do a wonderful job of multi-tasking, dealing with reception queies then serving drinks at the bar. I have not visited Warwick Castle since I was a child and so will be definitely be staying here again. 18 September 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Weekend Stay All tye staff were lovely, The room was clean and confortable. Hotel was light and bright and had a good feel to it. Parking was secure and well organised, don't know why you should have to pay though!! Breakfast quality was good althought hot breakfast without bacon is a bit unusual. I heard several comments on this. There was also a shortage of tables for breakfast and numerous people ate in the sitting area. But otherwise well done to all the staff Great value weekend 16 September 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding stay. Check in wasn't until 3pm which was a bit late and meant I had to dash to the hotel between the wedding service and reception which was rather annoying. Car park fee applied to hotel guests, again annoying. Room carpet was stained. Shower had a curtain, rather nasty and old fashioned. Bed was clean and comfy. Breakfast room rather dirty, very busy, staff couldn't keep up with cleaning and clearing tables. Self serve area covered in spillages and stray hairs! Food tasted reconstituted. Would I stay again? The staff polite but very short staffed as they deal with checkins and the bar suufers from non attendance while this happens. A long wait while coaches arrive. The air condition leaked water dropping on to my bed around 3 in the morning and so had to rearrange the bed with a towel. reported the following day and was told it would be seen to. However the same problem happened again the following night. Breakfast was good and the rate was excellent for what we received. D.B .Leicestershire 06 September 2013

Also , not enough tables to serve breakfast and not enough staff to clear up. The staff that were working were running around like mad men trying to clear up . 28 August 2013

The roon was better than expected and accommodated two adults and two kids well. The included breakfast set us all up for the travel ahead, and all for under £50. 26 August 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, friendly & great value for money My partner & I stayed here for one night as we were going to Warwick Castle the following day, the room was spacious and clean. On arrival the staff at Reception were very friendly and helpful. Had a great nights sleep, even though the Hotel was fully booked there was no noise whatsoever, the view from the window was a lovely sight too as in the grounds were bunny rabbits which is a rare sight! The breakfast was good too, a great and wide choice, having the option of cold or hot. I would definitely give this 10 out of 10 and if we ever come to Warwick again, will stay here and will recommend this to friends and family. 21 August 2013

The only area that spoilt our stay was at breakfast when there were business meetings and there were a lot of people for these meetings taking up table spaces with their laptops and not having breakfast. We had to take breakfast in our room on one occasion! 18 August 2013
