Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad experience overall, bad customer service. The customer service at this hotel was very poor, worst experience of my life. We arrived in the evening the lady at the reception was unfriendly and later on another foreign white lady who said was a manager, could speak English but sounded foreign took over and she was worse. There was a group of us (about 30 people) that booked into this hotel to attend a wedding at a nearby location. There was a lot of confusion about the bookings which were made by the hotel. She said all the staff including her were new and that's why they could not rectify the mistake and there was nothing she could do about it, she had an angry face, she was arguing and very defensive. Its a long story but it was a very bad experience. They have no consideration for customers. The wedding couple suffered the most over booking arrangements. After the wedding the wedding couple spent an hour at the reception being accused of checking in the previous night when they never did and this same manager kept arguing with them until later she found out that the hotel had made a mistake. This was around 2am in the morning. We could not all sleep, we were worried about the newly wed couple. Everything was a mess. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Also everyone in the room was only allowed one key instead of two. 06 August 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Disappointing stay and mixed service Have stayed at this hotel many many times over the last 10 years but this was the worst visit. Unfortunately it was due to other guests making a noise - a wedding party continuing in the corridor - banging doors, shouting etc Reception staff, to be fair, did ask them to be quiet and did move me when I went down (3 hours after I had turned in) , but on checking out the following day, the girl on reception was uninterested in why I had been moved in the middle of the night. In the new room the duvet was really heavy - far too hot for summer. And the price of a machine made hot chocolate - £2.60. Do me a favour! All in all, after a loyal 10 years, I think I'll look elsewhere 05 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay Really enjoyed my stay here having visited warwick castle. Ate dinner at porridge pot next door which wasn't great but no evening dining option at hotel. Breakfast next morning was absolutely fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Very pleased. Only gripe is it was difficult to find using satnav and drove past 3 times. 03 August 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel, Great Experience. After a long tiring journey, was greeted by lovely polite, helpful staff. They showed us to our room and helped with our baggage, as Mum has problems walking . It was truly excellent service all round. Lovely Room, comfy beds, fab facilities. Breakfast was fabulous,,and everything was beautifully laid out , everything that you could want to eat to start the day well. I booked through the main HQ number and asked for a easy access room ( because of Mum's ability) ..however the Room...although on the ground floor was right at the furthest end of the corridor...which was a bit of a nightmare. However it was not the fault of the hotel staff ,, it is mainly a lack of red-tape-communication between HQ and individual Hotels. It may be something that you just need to be aware of when booking and making sure that you get a Room close to Reception... you may even need to call the Hotel directly. This was the only blip though..I would still definitely recommend this Hotel ... it was a great stay. We could even order in a Delivered Takeaway.... Indian or Chinese.. Lovely to slob out in your room having a Takeaway in your jarmies...!! I'm definitely going back.!! Fabulous. 31 July 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great value for money! Booked a night online few days before. Room was spotless, no trouble! Must have an excellent cleaner! Two staff members on reception on Saturday 26th July evening was very helpful and friendly! A lovely bonus to find out breakfast was free, very good breakfast! Lovely room, really nice! Great value for money, would def recommend and will be booking again in future! 30 July 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly, comfortable, nice breakfast Nice room, clean comfortable though set up of the sofa bed meant lost use of desk/chair. Lovely shower! Friendly helpful staff. Nice breakfast, plenty available even though busy - though would have liked more fruit options and bacon with cooked breakfast! Great location for Statford (though would need car) and Warwick (long walk) plus very nice pub next door that did great value meals. 29 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Top night's stay The only down side to what was otherwise a great stay was a too soft mattress (although I do have a back problem and am much more suited to a firm one). The location in relation to visiting Warwick castle was fantastic, great breakfast, very friendly staff, good clean room and ideally situated nextdoor to a pub The Porridge pot, who had a very varied and reasonably priced menu, I'd recommend it. 29 July 2014

The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic. Excellent value for money for a family. Can't fault anything during our stay. Will definitely stay here again. 24 July 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by angling club break We were a party of 12 anglers in 6 rooms for a weekends fishing at nearby Tunnel Barn Farm. I have got to say that the welcome we received from your staff was excellent they could not do enough for us from the moment we got there .They were so helpful they even let us put our expensive fishing tackle in the conference room overnight (less the nets which stayed in the cars ) they were a credit to your company. Rooms clean and comfortable breakfast was fine..Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and when we have another weekend away would certainly go back there . Thanks to you and your staff for a great weekend enjoyed by all 12 of us. 23 July 2014

We liked what we experienced, and have stopped here ever since. No frills, what you see is what you get. Good honest value for money with caring staff to look after your needs. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location to visit Warwick, Stratford upon Avon etc The hotel was ideally located on Junction 15 of the M40. It was easy to get to whether from the South or the North. The three major towns, Stratford upon Avon, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick are a short drive away as were some of the National Trust Sites. The hotel has the usual amenities without the large price tag and more importantly, air-conditioning and well insulated against the noise from motorway traffic . It has a well stock snacks on offer as well as the inclusive breakfast - pity there was no bacon on the menu but plenty of nice sausages. The room was reasonable in size with its en-suite bathroom and its clever door design. 22 July 2014

Staff were brilliant realy pleasant and could not do enough for us they even let us put our expensive fishing gear in the conference room (less the nets which stayed in the cars ) a credit to the company. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable stay A clean hotel, the room size and decor was ample and pleasent, my only criticism is that I find it wrong that you are charged extra to pay you car in the car park over night, when you have paid a reasonable price for the room. It's not that the car park was that secure as none of the barriers where in operation. Also I found the breakfast choice very limited, especially the cooked option, the choice being :sausage, scrambled egg, baked beans, really surprised no bacon, mushrooms or tomatoes! 21 July 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Warwick oh Warwick Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable staff made our weekend away almost perfect. Everything about this HIE verges on excellent, lost marks for a very poor selection at breakfast, and the pillows were typically not brilliant. I did like the choice of hard or soft, but found even the soft on the firm side. Conversely the mattress was very soft, which I thought would be difficult to sleep on, but slept very well indeed. 20 July 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff Service Because of poor experience at the Holiday Inn in Kenilworth the previous night, we called in during the morning before checking in at the Holiday Inn Express, Warwick, to make sure that we had a reasonable room. The two ladies on duty could not have been more helpful. They reserved room 021 for us, which is at the back of the hotel on the ground floor and exceptionally quiet. 17 July 2014

The staff were friendly and efficient and the room comfortable and air conditioned. The complimentary breakfast had a great choice, and the hot and cold items were frequently replenished. We hope to return next year 16 July 2014
