I am on crutches and booked this hotel as it is handicap assessable. I have to say I am disappointed and if this is what handicapped people have to deal with I am glad my condition is only temporary.
1st the Handicapped room is 1/2 way down the hall, you would think it would be closer to the elevator.
2nd. The lights to the bathroom are outside of the bathroom, and when you open the door it blocks the light switch. Also the lights to the room are by the front door meaning a return trip to the door to turn the lights off. Would rather see a light switch assessable to the bed.
3rd. There is a low tub and a bench to place in it. The bench is across the room and while on crutches it is difficult to move the bench into the tub. Not only that when they cleaned the room they took the bench out of the tub so I had to struggle to get it back in again.
So much for handicap assessable.
The walls are also paper this so you can hear what is going on next door as well as in the hall.
On the plus side the staff was very helpful at the buffet every morning.

We have been regular guests at this Holiday Inn Express for many years. Recently, it maintenance has not been what it should be. On this four-day visit, they were removing wall paper in the hallway, and repainting. It was noisy and had a very bad odor.
To compound this, after our second night, the small coat closet shelf and hanger-rod broke out of the wall and fell to the floor. This dumped all of our clothes onto the floor partially covering them with drywall powder.
The Shelf and hanger bar were simply secured into drywall, not into any structural support. Extremely poor workmanship.
We were given a different room for the remainder of our stay.
We will likely look for an alternative on our next visit to this area.

I received complimentary bottled water upon check-in. I stayed in the two-room suite, which is on the second floor. The larger room has the king bed, sofa bed, coffee table, sitting chair with ottoman, table with chairs, wet bar with sink (I think), refrigerator, and microwave. There was a large flat-screen TV with HDTV channels and another refrigerator in the cabinet under the TV. The bathroom was large. The main room also had a wooden door leading to a terrace, but the door was locked for security reasons. The other bedroom had a smaller king bed, sitting chair, and large flat-screen TV but no refrigerator in the cabinet under that TV (because three refrigerators would be excessive). The other bedroom also had a window that you could open all the way (I think). Both bedrooms had a nice simple environmental control system. I liked the flexible cancellation policy and the availability of bonus point packages. I left before the free breakfast in the lobby in order to beat the rush hour traffic. The hotel is next to a Smart and Final (convenient) and The Habit (hamburger joint). While there is a French restaurant across the street and an Italian restaurant right down the street, I decided to be frugal and just have a bacon char burger at The Habit and grab some things at Smart and Final. There is ample underground parking, which is complimentary for hotel guests.

Have stayed at this location on multiple occasions due to its convenient location to office and outside projects. In addition to location, added bonuses include friendly staff, consistently clean and well stocked room, prompt attention to special needs and always a great breakfast to start the day.

This place was great to stay. The room was big and very comfortable. The front desk was nice and answered my questions about where places are located and called a taxi when I needed it. The breakfast was probably the one thing that needs improvement. The eggs were dry and the omelet with cheese was kind of hard. The juices were also very watery. Overall the really enjoyed this stay and would stay again.

I had such an amazing time here. We came here for a wedding from San Jose, California. This hotel is super secured and safe. The breakfast in the morning is pretty good as well. Their customer service is pretty good. The hotel room is very comfortable and nice. This hotel is pretty close to the freeway and walking distance to important shops (ie. RITE AID 24 hours, Habit burger, Wendy's, Smart and Final). This hotel is 30 minutes from the LAX airport and 20 minutes from Venice beach. The only downside is the elevator that requires a key to get up and sometimes it does not function. All in all, I am really impressed with this hotel and would HIGHLY recommend it.

The people from front desk are rude. I went to see the breakfast the food was horrible. The woman from that kitchen never smile. In our room we asked for a microwave they said at 7:45 you will get it. At 8:30 we call to ask what happened with it. At 8:35 we got a bad microwave it wasn't working anyways we paid 10 dollars for that microwave. The housekeeper people are kind of shy but they are nice.

Clean rooms, as one would expect from an HI Express.
Staff was great, probably the friendliest I've encountered. Helpful and super polite.
