Well decorated. Great Food. Way to understaffed at the bars.
Your female manager shut her bar down and it put a horrible line at the one bar. many many people were fuming. She heard it but was not phased. Not a lot of passion .

I normally prefer to stay at this location, but will make sure there is no construction before returning. Most annoying was a strong burning kerosene odor whenever the room hvac unit was running. Maybe it came from the refrigerated semi trailers running in the parking lot all night. The wind was from that direction. Everything else basketballenthusiast said was true.
If you have some people that are unhappy because of the construction and are discounting rooms, you should do it for everyone. In my opinion, this location shouldn't have even been accepting reservations due to the condition of the hotel.
I thought you would have the foresight to schedule the renovation around the basketball tournaments. Even out-of-state visitors know it's hard to get a room during tournament time.

Chose to stay again at this motel after a previous excellent experience. This time, however, we were very disappointed! The staff was VERY nice and friendly and tried to be ultra-accommodating, however: 1) the pool area was VERY hot and humid and so filled with chlorine odors that our children's eyes were red and burning and they coughed for hours after their pool time, 2) our room door did not close properly unless intentionally pushed or pulled to a locked position, 3) our room was not cleaned between night stays so we had no towels for showering the second day and had to run to the desk for towels, 4) the people in the room next to us cursed and fought during the night and made our second overnight sleep miserable, 5) the continental breakfast seemed limited and inconvenient due to the remodel project, 6) the hallway and room still had very strong glue/paint odors from carpet installation the day before our arrival. We were given a discount for our stay, but our friends had much better experiences at other motels locally.

The hotel was being remodeled during our stay, but the staff and construction workers were very accommodating. There was a really nice breakfast and the pool area was great. Some friends had difficulty with the noise of the pool from their too but ours was farther away so we didn't have any problem.

just used rm for bday party--asked for close to the pool and got on other end of 1st floor not that big of deal. when we went to pool lifeguard wouldnt turn on the slide bc it was the end of his shift and someone was supposed to be there any moment. when she came on she did turn on slide right away.

This Holiday Inn Express is the reason we choose Holiday Inn hotels. It was a welcome sight as we drove through Aberdeen, after dark. We had made no advanced plans as to where we might stop and, lo and behold the HIE sign drew us in. The hotel and restaurant were busy, but the staff is well trained and it was a friendly, quick sign in. Despite a long line and a 30 minute+ wait, the Mavericks Restaurant was well worth waiting for, for supper. The food was excellent, making our stay the more satisfying. We know, that despite the busy hunting season, staff were patient and attentive. Yes, the beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends (those like ourselves who tend to travel off the beaten path). We will plan on stopping here again, in future. Well done!

My husband and I were staying in Aberdeen while on a hunting trip. The hotel was very comfortable, and our dog liked the biscuits! Great pool for the kids - or just me!
