Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Here for Dyess AFB air show The location is good. The hotel was booked solid and there were the usual slamming doors and pachyderms upstairs but nothing out of the ordinary. The mattress we had wasn't the most comfortable, we are used to a Sleep Number at home, but I did get restful sleep. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn't use the pool or eat breakfast here so can't say whether they're nice or not. There are other hotels to choose from, this one worked out well for us. May 6, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by unpleasant stay The room had an unpleasant odor. The curtains were unclean and the bed did not have a fresh smell. There was a lot of outside noise from other rooms and hallway. (not very insulated) For the price I would have expected a cleaner room. April 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Abilene stay So I always stay with IHG hotels. I was irritated this stay because I'm in the room with my kids and TV is really important. The TV in our room kept going out. Also, the bed broke when my son SAT on it. The last two times I've stayed at the hotel I've had situations where I get irritated about things. The last stay in El Paso, the front desk didn't have my reservation correct. This stay in Abilene, I almost didn't have a room, I happen to call on the road to ask if they had a DVD player for movies and they didn't have a reservation for me! They had me booked for May 18th instead of April 18th. IHG is my first choice ALWAYS, but if I'm going to keep having issues, there are many other hotels who offer reward programs. Please don't lose the quality and the great experience you have always given me. This may seem like minut issues, but when you pay for stay, it makes a difference. April 22, 2015
