Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best Hotel in Abilene, Texas I travel a lot for business and stay in Abilene about twice a month. I think I have stayed at just about every hotel in this city at one time or another. Most are business class hotels and most are fine but I keep going back to this one. The access is easy right off 20 and parking is easy (plenty of room). There are places to eat near the property and the hotel breakfast is better than most. The staff is always friendly and customer services focused. This is a safe bet if passing through Abilene. May 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable and front desk staff were very accomodating. Great hotel. I would recommend the hotel provide suger free options for people on a sugar free diet. Otherwise, a great hotel. May 12, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by a/c filter and condenser coils filthy the a/c filter and the condenser coils were filthy, which can be unhealthy fortunately there was a Lowe's next door and I purchased a can of cleaner and cleaned them myself April 7, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room Stayed in one of the suites. Did not get priority gift at check in. Room was missing many amenities. No pen to write with. No water to drink, I felt cleanliness of room was not up to standard. I was returning from international trip and the service was not up to par here. The breakfast was not hot and some normal items not present. March 27, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, but hotel needs maintenance attention Staff was great and attentive. Breakfast was on time and good. The room and bathroom is showing wear and tear. There was no alarm clock in the room. Upon request, a very used alarm clock was provided by the staff, but it worked. The bathtub metal drain plug was unscrewed and laying in the tub, very rusted. No problem with the A/C, nice and quiet. Overall, not the worst Holiday Inn on this 15-day trip, but not the best condition. February 27, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Management Let me start off by saying that I am a Priority Club member and I frequently stay at Holiday Inn establishment for personal and buisness trips. My stay at this particular establishment was one that I would like to forget. The overall service provided was great. The rooms were great, the breakfast was great, and the general stafff was great. My ONLY problem that I had with my stay was at checkout. I made reservations for myself and three other colleagues over the phone. Over the phone I specified that I am making the reservations for my colleagues and upon arrival we would all provide our Priority Club numbers and credit cards. When we arrived we did so. Upon check all of our bills were completely screwed up. My card got charged twice. All of our bills had our colleagues name on the top with his priority club number and my address on the bottom. Lastly my other colleague didn't ge tcharged at all (lucky her). Anyway the clerk at checkout said she could not correct the problem and would have to notify her mamager. I called the hotel the following week to rectify our bills and the mamager stated she would correct the problem and send us the new bill statements. The new billing statements were sent out, but the bills still had the wrong names on the top with mismatched addresses. Since it was a business trip; we all needed to have our names on top of the billing statement. I called the manager back and she began to catch an attitude with me over the phone. She stated that the next time we make reservations on the phone "we need to make sure we make the reservations in our own names and make sure that is divulged to the staff at check in". I calmly explained to her what exactly happened upon check in and check out and she retorted back "well why didn't you guys see the problem at check out and address it there?". At this point i had just about had it with the manager and her unprofessionalism. Instead of handling the situation properly; she was completely uncouth and argumentative. I have never experienced this in all of my stays at this particular hotel chain. She did not want to own up to the fact that her employees made a mistake. Long story short; I had to step away from the phone and let my colleague handle the discrepancy because I was about to lose iton her. The icing on the cake is that once all of the confusion was settled she told my colleague to tell me she was sorry instead of being a woman and telling me herself. The managers name is Sensa i believe and she definitely needs to be addressed on how to customer service. My how experience was completely soured because of her unprofessionalism. February 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A wonderful stay in Abilene, TX Front desk staff is always helpful and friendly. Everyone goes above and beyond their call of duty. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is located right off of I-20 so it is convenient. A great stay for the price and value. January 16, 2013
