Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Value Stay My family came in for the night. Overall, the experience was good. The staff was very polite. The breakfast area and service was nice. I always worry about the cleanliness of the rooms. This one didn't feel so bad and was mostly what I would expect. The carpet, being carpet, I figured was cleaned about as well as it could be. Then, when checking to see if my children had dropped any toys, I found bottle caps and trash under the 1 ft section of the bed that had not been boxed in. Being that it was right there at the edge of the bed, I was glad I didn't let my littlest one play on the floor. It just showed me the room had a quick through-the-middle kind of clean. That could be from inadequate staffing, pressure of the hotel being full, or just a poor job on its own. Whatever the reason, it left us with a bad feeling leaving the hotel. May 19, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Need to repair and change staff This holiday Inn Express has. Some of the most unfriendly, rude staff. They all could use customer service training. The elevator was not working and had been broke 2 days . We were put on the 3 rd floor by the staircase door. The hair dryer was broke in the bathroom. The breakfast area was not stocked well. The pancake machine was broke. Breakfast lady not friendly and seemed mad about something. We will not stay there anymore. Too bad for tired travelers on I-20. April 22, 2015

Even though the smoke detector battery went bad during our stay (causing an annoying beep every minute), we notified the front desk and they came to replace the battery right away. During breakfast, the apple juice ran out. We notified the breakfast attendant. She immediately fixed the problem then brought cups of apple juice to us as we were eating. April 21, 2015
