Curteous desk staff, super clean rooms, and a great variety of food available on breakfast bar. The Holiday Inn Express in Abingdon, Va was different from others I have stayed at in that they had an exceptional breakfast bar attendant. She was on top of keeping everything filled, greeted all the customers, went out of her way to offer help in anyway she could and even give out info. about area activities. I also noticed that the morning we checked out that they had someone available to help take your bags to your car. May 5, 2013

In Jan. we were faced with a drive into a snow storm and we were offered extra snacks to carry just in case we were stranded. There's a terrific restaurant down the street that we always eat at- don't miss it- Wildflower Bakery and Cafe- don't let the name fool you...it's great for dinner. April 29, 2013
