We have stayed at the hotel twice, and both times we had a nice stay. We have found Ed to be very eager to make sure we had a comfortable stay, it is always a pleasure to see him behind the front desk

Very nice stay. Staff was friendly and very helpfull. We loved the location which was a little north of Traverse City and the traffic, but not far enough away to make the short drive an issue. We will make this our place to stay while in the area!

We had driven all day and found the Acme Holiday Inn quiet and comfortable. The room had a nice view of the bay and the beds were comfortable. A bonus was that you could not hear other individuals in the hall way. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to those wanting a comfortable and quiet environment.

I have always have a wonderful stay no matter where I go with Holiday Inn. The rooms are always beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The staff great and the hotel accomodations wonderful. Thank you for having such a great place and staff .

We use this hotel on a regular basis for our company. We regularly enjoy our stay but guest services frequently complicates our check-ins with company credit card transactions.

This was the best stay, at a Holiday Inn Express, I have ever experienced. Friendly staff, a most beautiful room (The Tower Room) and a very very clean hotel at that! Excellent! Wonderful! Very pleased!

The service we get here is second to none. It is a fantastic stay every time. From a week to a month, I have never enjoyed staying anywhere else as much as here.

Great hotel with an excellent location. Very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. I really liked the view of the bay from my room. Just a great hotel.

We are Canadian and had to go to a wedding in Traverse City. What a great hotel. We were a large family group and we were allowed to party in th huge lobby/breakfast area. We loved this as we could be a little loud, order late night pizza and not have to sit in someone's room. The service was excellent and the staff was great , clean rooms, comfortable beds. What more could we ask for. We love the area and hope to return in the summer.

I had family in from out of town and reserved 3 rooms. The staff had everything all set for them, reserved adjacent rooms, and even arranged all my nieces stuffed animals on her bed! Thanks for making a great family reunion!

Holiday Inn Express breakfasts have slipped relative to other hotels who offer breakfast as part of the package. The biggest slippage is the corporate decision to go to pancakes instead of waffles. The pancakes come out like hard tasteless hockey pucks. The waffles were always tasty and fresh. I strongly recommend getting rid of the pancakes and reinstating the waffle iron. The scrambled eggs taste like military scrambled eggs - artificial tasting and rubbery.
This hotel had 4 cereals, all of which were mostly sweetened "kids cereals". Go back to regular Cherios instead of sweetened Cherrios.
Hotel staff and the room was great and we will stay again but may go out for breakfast.

We stayed last weekend at this facility. Very recently updated with a nice color scheme. Very clean and we were very comfortable. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day with many choices. Thanks for a great experience.

We have been going to this hotel for 5 years and they are constantly striving to make our say comfortable and memorable. We only stay at Holiday Inn Express when we travel and this one is the best one we have stayed at. JoEllen makes us feel right at home and we always get the same room. Thanks again.

I travel a lot for a living. This used to be my favorite location to stay at. I love the gym and used to love the beds. I hadn't stayed at this location for months because the last time I stayed, new beds were brought in. I think the floor would be more comfortable. I like a firm bed but these are crazy. When in the gym, I was chatting with a woman who also travels a great deal with work and she was telling me how bad she thought they were. I had to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep and then always feel lethargic the next day. I stayed two nights only because I didn't want to reload all of my stuff. When my fiance' tried to call the front desk (since my cell doesn't work in the building) nobody answered. He tried again and...no one answered. I also wanted to sit in the outside sitting area because it was a nice day. I asked the front desk how I was to get out there. She said through the pool area. I said, isn't it locked? She said no. I went out there to do some reports. I remembered something I needed in my room. I then couldn't get back in...the door was locked. I had to ask someone coming into the hotel to please tell the front desk that I was locked out.

My husband and I love, love, love this place. We stay at least once a month. The staff is very professional, polite, and remember us from our many stays here. We highly recommend Acme Holiday Inn Express. The new remodel is great. We find it very easy to relax here. The location is close to Traverse City, but far enough away that you don't have constant traffic sounds outside.

This is a below average Holiday Inn Express considering the nightly rate for the room. The rooms are are in need of updating , and the walls are very thin. I could here the conversations of the guests in the next room as well at the toilets and showers. I won't be staying here again. This is not the experience I've come to expect at Holiday Inn Express. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful.

I travel for my job about thirty five nights a year. That being said, I have expectations. I have never been disappointed by this property. The staff is professional and always accomodating if I have any special requests. The property was recently remodeled and looks great. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I stay 40 to 50 nights per year on average in Holiday Inn brand hotels worldwide.
This hotel is very sub-standard. The owners need to invest in a lot of repairs/updates before I will stay here again.

Upgrades to the hotel's appearance in both the rooms and public areas have really improved the place. Staff were helpful and courteous. We would like to try other places in the area, but are afraid they will not meet Express's experience.
Our only concern is that the local township refuses to let Holiday Inn Express put a small tasteful sign near the roadway to identify it's location. As a result, I will try to make as many purchases out of the township as possible.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had excellent service and very friendly and professional staff. The rooms are great and the morning breakfast is great. I will stay at this hotel on my travels to the TraverseCity, Michigan area. Wonderful location and wonderful staff.

Unfortunately, we were there a weekend that had a kids pool party going on. Unable to relax in the pool area and had to call the front desk several times because kids were running up and down the hallway. Room was very comfortable.

First time stay at this hotel location was close to Traverse City area and all it has to offer. Just down the street from a great restaurant called Travinos and if you like to gamble, it was close to a casino. The beds and pillows were fabulous. I'd go back just for those. I never wanted to get out of bed, they were so comfy! All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The only 'con' was I thought they should have had a small refrigerator in the room, which was only available in some sort of deluxe room, which I thought mine was pretty nice and had 2 queen beds, but a small point overall.
