I did find that the cleaning product used on the bathroom floor made it slippy when I walked in to use the toilet with my regular tennis shoes on. In bare feet it was ok. I had to be extra cautious, once I had shoes on. I am prone to falling.

Dirty sleeper sofa, deadbolt lock didnt work, shower leaked onto the carpet, refrigerator did not work.

A little off of the highway it was a pleasant surprise to find this nice location. The bed was comfy and the staff was really nice.

While the hotel is a nice place to stay at the moment, signs of slide are showing like unswept front yard, mud on floor seen by employees not cleaned right away. It seems management is not too keen in keeping this property in top shape.

The staff at this hotel was beyond excellent. All of them were kind and friendly to my wife and I. The pool was refreshing. The breakfast was great and I loved the pancakes. Will definitely stay again.

I attend Chattahoochee Tech for continuing ed to keep my certification current. I always stay here as it is convenient to school and dining.
I feel safe and the staff is always very friendly. At breakfast time I found the attendants to be very accommodating. They make an effort to greet each person and make them feel at home away from their home. It might be even better than what they are used to at home (ha). I will continue to choose this location for future events. Thanks

Fourth or fifth time we have stayed at this HI Express over the past two years. Tremendous staff, great service, clean and comfortable rooms, and easy to enter / exit the interstate. Highly recommended for an overnight stay. - - always clean and excellent attention to details
P.S. manager recommended dining at "Henry's" in downtown Acworth - - - great Cajun food that rivals New Orleans (but better!). We always try to eat at Henrys's during each stay.

I was in town for work but I had a chance to e my sister and mom. The room was fabulous along with the staff!!! The room was awesome, clean and ofc the breakfast was great!!! A bonus is that is motel is new.

I arrived downstairs for breakfast at exactly 6:30 AM (the official opening time) to find the dining area almost full (few seats remaining) with about 10 people in line, one of whom was complaining about being "out of eggs".
Obviously, people had been going through the line for some time before 6:30 AM
It took until after 7:00 AM for the eggs to be refreshed. Unfortunately, they didn't taste very good (watery, without body).
The sausage was not browned at all.
Gravy was tasty to me, but I heard some complaints about it.
Hot sweet rolls and biscuits were decent.
There are many other options, including cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold hard-boiled eggs, coffee, tea, milk, pancakes, bread, bagels (with toaster), etc.
All of that to say, if you are truly hungry, you'll find something to eat, though you may have trouble getting good hot food.
Management told me that the breakfast setup is the job of the night auditor and that the dining room/food attendant does not start their shift until 7:00 AM.
This explains a lot. How can the night auditor supervise the opening of the dining area at a time when people are checking out and hitting the road?
By having no one to replenish hot food until after 7 AM, an unsatisfactory result is virtually certain

The scrambled eggs are gross. Thank goodness a Waffle House was nearby. It takes 3 minutes to cook eggs so if your guests wanted them, you could cook them at their request. I saw a total of 10 people down in the breakfast area so it can't be too time consuming for your staff.

We arrived at this hotel and checked in with out a reservation. We were given a room on the first floor. When we entered the room we could hear water running in the bathroom. I went to the front dest explained the situation and was immediately given a different room (upgraded) which was larger and 4 rooms down. The hotel is great for a good nites sleep. When we left the hotel after eating what I would call a great breakfast of scrambled eggs (that were not rubber) perfectly done along with pork patties that were perfectly done as well, we realized that 20 miles later we had left something behind. I call the front desk and was reassured that we did not have to worry that all I had to do was contact fed-ex and e-mail a mailing slip to them and they would send it on the way. I spoke with Renee and she wakled me through what I had to do and with her help, we should be receiving our lost item in 2 days. Thanks HIE for all your help and kindness that went way beyond the call of duty.

Just recently stayed at this property with my wife. The lobby looks great and the staff there is very friendly, and even though there are not a lot of restaurants right off the exit the staff is knowledgeable enough to recommend some really great spots!!!!!! I will stay again on our next trip down to Jacksonville.

We wanted to get ab early start the next morning, before their complementary breakfast started, and so the hotel staff fixed us up a small bag of some snacks to take on the road with us. We will, forever, be loyal customers of this Holiday Inn Express.

This hotel is great when traveling. It is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Request a room on the top floor away from the elevator for the quietest stay. Unfortunately, we were placed front of the elevator and laundry area during our last stay and it was a bit annoying. The staff is very friendly and they act like they are actually happy to have guests. The rooms are extremely clean and always comfortable.

The staff was very professional, kind and accommodating however I was very disappointed from the stench coming from the carpets inside the room and in the hallway. It makes for a miserable stay if you have allergies and or asthma.

Everything great. Only thing I would ask is if you could fix doors to bathroom. It pins you against the toliet. A pocket door might work or even just a better way to control it.

We have always enjoyed our stays with IGH groups when traveling and have been priority club members for several years. In addition to the clean, comfortable, reasonably priced rooms we appreciate the generous breakfasts provided. Early access to the breakfast area allows us to get on the road prior to heavy traffic and facilitates driving through the city. However, on Tuesday morning 12, November only after much pleading for our case were we allowed access to the breakfast area when we arrived at 5:45. Granted the hot food portion of the area wasn't ready, but the light breakfast menu we prefer was ready and available including coffee. A couple who attempted access minutes after us was not so lucky. They were actually kicked out of the area! If IGH group plans to condone this behavior and not allow us access at 5:45 am we will be forced to seek lodging with some other Hotel group that will allow us access. Please let us know your decision. Thank you.

Holiday Inn Express, Acworth was a great location and the staff was a pleasant surprise! I was impressed with everyone and the entire Hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was very kind, surprising me with their nice attitude. I will come back to this location. The price was a little high but you get what you pay for now!
