Gentleman at the desk, Nick, could not have been more helpful,,Excellent cutomer servise skills and definitley made you feel at home. A real credit to your company. Nick should give classe and seminarts on how customers should be treated.He should be commended and recognized for his above and beyond efforts.

Traveled with a 5 month old. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommomodating. Special thanks to Ally, Tylor, and Marvin to name a few. All were great. Breakfast was perfect- prepared early which was good, and great variety. Housekeeping was right on the ball.

The staff at this hotel were great; friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Bathrooms were updated and very nice. Pool is in a glass enclosed room and relaxing. I loved everything about this spot!

I always find the staff to be so helpful and friendly! They go out of their way to make the stay comfortable. They even went out in the snow and wiped our windshields off! I allways stay at HIE on Western Ave. when I'm in Albany. It's the best.

We were once again very pleased with the outstanding customer service provided by your staff. In particular, Nick was once again an "all star" who went far and above to assure that our needs were met. We have stayed there several times in the past year or so and he has always done an excellent job.

I loved this hotel. The price was good, the room was comfortable, the shower was hot, the internet was not only free but fast, there were inexpensive restaurants within walking distance, the breakfast was included and excellent, the staff was attentive and gave me a phone call after I left to ask me about something I might have forgotten in the room. Next time I visit Albany I'm going to the Holiday Inn Express.

I prefer to stay here whenever I'm in Albany for business or with family. Clean quiet easy access nice breakfast and sometimes nice evening appetizers that let you finish work and get to dinner.

Because of Business travel, I stay at this location several times each year. I am always treated with a smile, quick check in, correct billing at the end of my stay and all the ammenities needed to do work in my room on the internet, or the ability to relax in the pool or in the excercise room - grab a soda, newspaper, or cup of coffee after hours. My highest regards to the staff for their customer service, cleanliness of every area - both inside and out - and recommend highly this location.

Room was super clean. They had fridge, microwave,iron, and free wifi and breakfast. Service was execllent. Gym was great. Price was right. Anytime I go anywhere I try to stay at a HHI Express.

This was a great experience for my whole family. I attended classes while my family enjoyed their stay at the hotel. They went swimming in the heated pool, which my daughter enjoyed and my son had a good experience at the gym. Overall our stay was great.

I had a wonderful experience at this Holiday Inn express. The staff and service were of high quality. The full breakfast buffet was great. The property (outside and indoors) was kept very clean. The rooms were very comfortable. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express.

We have stayed at this specific location several times & we are never disappointed. The staff is always very friendly & the rooms are nice and clean! This time not only did we need to get a toothbrush from the front desk, but also an expensive jacket was left in the room. I called to ask if it had been turned in & by the time we got back to the hotel to go check, the cleaning staff had it by the front desk. This has become our Holiday Inn of choice whenever we visit Albany!!

The only thing that bothered me was that at check-in we were told there would be 2 complementary bottles of water in the room, and there were, but I could see the seal was broken on one of them when I went to put them in the refrigerator. I opened the bottle to dump out the water, and there was lipstick on the mouth of the bottle! There was also a half-finished water bottle in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator. The rest of the room looked like it had been adequately cleaned, but the water kind of made it look like the attention to detail had been lacking. Otherwise, everything was fine, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This is my favorite holiday inn express location. Whenever I need to be in the Albany area, whether I need to be downtown or uptown, I stay at this location. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and welcoming. The breakfast bar is always well stocked, even if I go down late. Will definitely be staying here again!

I had another great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Albany. The staff are all very accomadating and so friendly.
Nick is very warm and welcoming upon arrival.

I've stayed at this hotel several times. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom and room are always clean. They have a treadmill and pool for exercise. Healthy breakfast options are offered every morning. Very conveniently located to UAlbany, restaurants, mall and Walmart - a must for parents visiting their kids at college. Rates are very reasonable.

The front desk staff at this HI Express were very friendly and helpful at check-in. This was our 20th bed (not all at HI Express) during a 6 week holiday in the USA and Canada, and the friendliest staff we met. Our stay, over a Friday and Saturday night was during a very busy period with a wedding party and weekend travellers in the motel. The staff managed this busy period very well, with breakfast foods replenished frequently and express check-out worked well upon departure.
The room was large and comfortable, very clean, a very comfortable bed with good quality linen.
There is no guest laundry on site at this motel which for long term travellers is disappointing.
Overall a very pleasant stay.

We've been on the college tour circuit around the country, so we have stayed in numerous HI Express as well as other similar chains. This was my favorite. It has been nicely updated/remodled, and has a friendly staff, better than usual HIExP breakfast options and the exercise room is the best I've seen in a hotel of this type. There were also sitting areas for people to gather and talk - outside of their rooms. We were visiting RPI, which was a quick, easy drive from the hotel. Would stay there again, and highly recommend.

My stay was great - the room still smelled some of old cigarette smoke. The hair dryer was a little clumsy and was not very powerful, but it did the job.
The Holiday Inn Express out performs competitors in many conveniences, like microwave, refrigerator, free internet service and bottled water. HIE is first class all the way!
