Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed I am a Platinum Member I stay at Holiday Inn Expresses all over the U.S., I have never been treated more rude at the front desk in all my 7 years of staying. I had business in the location of this hotel, I paid 50.00 more than ever before, was not greeted as a Platinum Rewards member was not given a choice of water and snack or 500 pts. I had a room with the upper lock broke, toilet broke and on end where stairs are very loud with a gap under door you could see people walking, I let the front desk girl know I was interested in having a direct bill set up due to a lot of rep travel in that area, she could have cared less next day I brought it up again she handed me a card and said to call, I have been greeted by sales set up with direct bill in 6 locations with instant attention to of course them wanting the business. Also, the next day had a business partner coming down from Portland Same front desk girl asked to have a late check out to do a training was given one hour instead of 2 had to do training in business center. A hotel that hires a person so non customer oriented is not a hotel I care to do business with. February 27, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Well maintained property with friendly, attentive staff. Comfy beds with an assortment of pillow types. Room carpet needed cleaning and had to ask for an extra set of towels twice. Breakfast items plentiful and they didn't slam the doors at the end of the posted time, but allowed guests to pick up things as they were cleaning and closing down. The warm cookies in the evening, and the fresh apples and bananas were always a welcome touch. February 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very clean, great service, a little pricey Rooms are very clean, spacious and attractive. Nice staff. Well-equipped business center. Plentiful, convenient parking. It was a bit pricey, especially if you include the $20 per night pet fee, but we don't regret the stay on that basis. You can walk to the Event Center if your stay involves an activity there. If a comfortable pillow is important, take your own, though the staff tried to find some that would be better for us. February 27, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by An outpost on a stormy night I ended up at the hotel where my car had been parked for several days after being stranded in Portland by an ice and snow storm. After an extra long and delayed Amtrak ride I finally got to the hotel where I ran into the most gracious desk clerk. Snow and ice covered streets prevented me from going anywhere but he offered my menus on a local Chinese restaurant that delivered! The next morning (he was there again) he offered me a shovel to dig my car out and checked to see that I was ok doing so. Perhaps my age (81) had him concerned. I was so grateful for his help and also saw him dig out another car that belonged to another hotel guest. Excellent service and I consider myself lucky. February 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bad TV There are no pay for view movies. Much worse is the absence of a TV guide or a channel that shows a schedule of programing. There are three HBO channels. There is an HBO leaflet that tells when programs are scheduled on one of these channels. The others just run and you must be lucky enough to catch the beginning of a movie or program. I never was able to watch a program from beginning to end. It was catch as catch can. Schedules on Pacific ST are different from elsewhere so guessing did not work. It seems ridiculous to have about 30 channels but no schedule. February 22, 2014
