The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, but they need a little work on management. They shuttle was supposed to pick me up from the airport, and there was a snafu. In brief, I ended up at the wrong Holiday Inn Express, and they just left me stranded- no communication, no nothing. The shuttle driver from the wrong Holiday Inn Express took me to the Midtown one. I felt they should have called me, sent somebody to get me, pay for a taxi- anything but leave me stuck, alone, in a strange city. I called them twice and the front desk clerk never returned my call and just claimed that she couldn't raise the Shuttle Driver- I'm guessing maybe she tried once- each time after I called her.
Then, one employee told me that they were serving breakfast on Saturday at 6:00 am regardless of what the sign said- well that was wrong, too.
After the problem with the shuttle, other people were quite nice and accommodating. I never did get an apology from that desk clerk for leaving me stranded.

Our room was never cleaned on October 19, 2013. We stayed for two nights and that evening of Saturday when we returned to our room, it was still the way we left the morning of October 19. So I rated that as poor. I had addressed it to the front desk that same day and nothing was done said to me about it. So I don't know if I will be returning to that hotel. I always stay there because I love that hotel, but with service like that, I would probably take my services somewhere else.

This was a great place from the moment we were greeted by the front staff to each morning when the breakfast room staff were looking after all the details. We had a wonderful stay at this great place. There is a super bike trail just a few steps away that was wonderful for long interesting walks along a dry canal. The staff gave great service and made sure our stay was comfortable. We made goo use of the business center and even the outside pool gave us enjoyment during our October stay. Even though there are major highways nearby, the hotel is very quiet. It is easy to get around and nearby there are some good shopping malls, Old Town and Route 66. Even Hot Air Balloon Park is not too far away. It was a great stay.

Good location for my business travel stay, enjoyed breakfast food and staff. The bathroom in my hotel room was not as clean as I had hoped - cobwebs and dust around tub, bedspread seemed a little musty. Couldn't get ESPN on the TV. Good room layout, enjoyed having a fridge. Staff was very friendly.

Facility was very convenient during Balloon Festival. Shuttle drivers were friendly, reliable and courteous. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Main thoroughfare is in front of property and can get a little noisy at times. Breakfast selection varies, but was better on second morning with eggs, bacon, etc.

We booked a king suite--room was spacious and clean. Staff was terrific; very courteous, helpful, and engaging. Truly, the only small negative I have is the bathroom itself is very, very small--and we are very average size people--and found it too cramped. Good value!

Tania's energy in the morning got everyone moving and happy. Ronnie at the front desk went out of his way to help you.He even gave my wife one of his own postal stamps so she could mail a postcard to the grandchildren and would not except the money for it. Above and beyond . Thanks again for a job well done.

I have stayed at this Holiday in three times and all three times they have not had my reservation right. I set it up with a king size bed and pay for that size and have not recieved a king size bed yet. I travel to Albuquerque often and will start to stay at a different hotel from now on.

Friendly and Helpful Staff, Great Room, clean and very quiet. The beds were perfect. Makes me going to always check to see if another Holiday Inn Express is in or near our next trip.

This IHG property has become one of our favorite hotels. We travel through Albuquerque between and twenty times per year and based on the staff's continued exemplary performance, we've decided to make it a permanent addition to our travel plans. The rooms are always clean and well stocked, the breakfast fare is well-prepared and of good quality, and the staff is always friendly and competent. This is obviously a well-run, well-managed operation.

On our visit to Holiday Inn Midtown-Albuquerque, NM There were 8 of us from Dallas/Ft Worth TX staying we had 4 rooms. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable. The service from front desk to rooms to eating area very clean and friendly. Thanks to Tanya, Viola, and young man at desk. We will be back!!

I stayed the first night on my way to California and the room was very clean so when I came back from California I stopped at the hotel to spend the night .. I was told I had my room reserved for. 1st floor but did not have but second so I said that would be ok. I went upstairs to the second floor to my room there was brown looking stuff on the pillow and the toilet had water coming from under the toilet this was all in 5 minutes time so I called the guy on duty who was very nice he seen how nasty gave me another room on 3rd floor and it had a very nasty tab with black hair in the tub with curtains that was so Nasty and the air wasn't working .. Plus the furniture has not been dusted so I went and got a blanket and pillow out of the car sand we slept with that. I think the hotel is very nice but needs better upkeep and housekeeping needs to try harder on the room also let manager and office know.

Was represented as being close to Old Town but is 5+ miles away. Noisy A/C units 3 feet away from the bed. Drains were plugged. Staff could give no tourist info/help. Thought my Platinum Priority Club would help but still treated poorly. Very dissapointing

After trying for hours to sleep while the A/C unit in my room continued to cycle on and off, I finally got up to call the desk. The unit was making a banging sound and each time it did, it woke me.
I was told they were full and since it was the middle of the night there was nothing they could do.
Besides the fact the bed in the room was just worn out!
I now wonder about the "hospitality guarantee".
Upon check out, I asked for compensation for the fact I had to sleep with no A/C because it was so loud banging on and off, I was told they could do nothing!

Convenient location midpoint. Very friendly staff and courteous. Tanya as always friendly and efficient! Provides great service. Great food variety and service for the money plus you earn reward points huge plus. Safe place to travel with family. Wished it had an indoor pool. Otherwise great place to stay highly recommend.

Beds were terrible! If you like sleeping next to your partner, I mean squished next to them, these beds at for you as you roll into the person next to you. Linens were fair, room was ok, but we all woke up stiff and sore. At one point we even considered sleeping on the floor! Checked it the next morning and moved to another hotel down the road.

Good place to be. clean room, pool for children and good breakfast choice.
Only bad experience was about a forgotten shave. I've contacted the desk to send me a forgotten shave in the room
to an US destination
They said they will give all information to UPS to send me the shave (i was supposed to pay the shipping)
and i never receive any call form UPS or Desk .. i'm now back in Fance and it's to late and to expensive to get my eletric shave back.

I always stay at your hotel when I'm in town for business, and everything is usually great. However, during this stay, I forgot four Nike golf shirts in my room when I checked out of room 523 on Friday during my last stay approximately two weeks ago. When I got home, I called the hotel and spoke with someone from room service to report my forgotten shirts. They promised they would check on my shirts and call me back after I left my number. To date, no one has ever called me back, and I can only assume that someone from house keeping kept my shirts. I left my contact information, so if someone would care to give me a follow up call. Thank you.
