Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Albuquerque HIE Everything was fine except the breakfast staff seemed inattentive and they were empty on some of the hot food a couple days out of my weeks stay. February 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I've experienced from HIE Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Pillows were old and very used... Both telephones were broken. Water temperature to take a shower was luke warm at best. Water was not hot whatsoever...this did not change Friday and Saturday...the faucet would only go so far not allowing the guest to set the temperature to their liking... As I mentioned...luke warm at best. Very frustrating... Breakfast was good..however, since eggs are offered, there should be plain eggs available as well as those with salsa inside. I've stayed at several HIE hotels and I've never experienced this with others. I would not stay at this location in the future. February 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by business stay Nice rooms and overall accommodations. Wi-fi not available in all rooms. Makes it difficult to work. February 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location for airport Mostly good stay. Had to ask that the bananas be put out, had to ask that the hot water be refilled in the dining room. Over zealous night person generated the bill one day early and made all 6 of us a little nervous. Good meeting room, staff accommodating to our late departure. February 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Albuquerque Airport The stay was good. The reason for the lower rating on sleep quality had nothing to do with the hotel and everything to do with my anxiety due to a very early morning flight. February 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff an cleanliness I arrived during the evening. It was dark and the area was not well lit so it was difficult to compare the hotels form the outside. Possible outside slighting would be appropriate. This is 4 at least. I ddi not sue the gym nor any amenities to include the breakfast due to an early take off. I think I missed a wonderful meal and the cinnamon buns. February 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff The front desk staff was incredible. Kama was especially helpful. My only complaint was about the sink faucet in the bathroom... it didn't reach very far over the sink (by design), so I constantly felt like I was splashing water. February 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best Holiday Inn Express, Yet We traveled 2,000 miles to Albuquerque to attend my wife's father's funeral, and stayed at three different HIEs. This was, by far, the best. Whomever did the interior designing for this place, knew what he/she was doing. The choice of floor tile, furniture, and especially the bathroom decor, distinguished this hotel from the other two. We only stayed here, because it was located about a mile from the airport, and we had an early morning flight. There was a free shuttle that left on the half hour. If we had known that this hotel was so well run, we would have stayed here the whole time. Even though it was close to the airport, the rooms were virtually soundproof. Everything worked, even the wi-fi. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses all over the country, and this was the first one in which I had no wi-fi problems. The TV has all the channels, unlike the newer HIE we stayed at a few miles away. However, the biggest surprise was the breakfast room. Although it was only a quarter-to-six, all the cereals were out, and sweet rolls were heated and there was a wide variety of danish pastry and bear claws available at that time. We didn't have to board the plane on an empty stomach. In the past few months, I've stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses in Sarasota, Fl, Charleston, SC, Santa Fe, NM, and two in Albuquerque, but the Albuquerque Airport HIE was easily the best.
