I spent 4 days in Alexandria for business and was tremendously taken care of. Our business party was 8 people and unfortunately we were not able to find logging before we flew. Tracy at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. She personally called multiple hotels to ensure that all of our personnel would have a room. She was able to coordinate all of our rooms at the Holiday Inn except for 2 people on the last night of our stay. The entire facility was well above and beyond what I was expecting and I when I have to travel down their again, this will be the only place I stay!

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Alexandria, LA. The hotel was good value, conveniently located and provided a good breakfast.

This property and staff more than met my expectations. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. My room was comfortable and very clean. I would recommend this property with confidence to anyone be it business or pleasure.

Our stay was very pleasant. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms. This is the second time we have stayed there and are booked to stay again in June and July. Love staying here.

The Holiday Inn Express in Alexandria Louisiana was very nice and accommodating, extremely nice and welcoming staff! Aside from the general lack of ground transportation in the area, and the lack of a shuttle provided by the hotel, I'd certainly recommend this hotel to others. It was clean, and had a great little happy hour, and the breakfast was pretty good too. The coffee not bad (I'm something of a coffee snob).

When i checked in, apparently the key card machine was down, so i had to be sent to my room without a key, no information about internet code, breakfast, nothing.. . Went to 4th floor and right from the elevator all the way into the hallway there was this terrible smell like something died or severely decaying. Housekeeper said she thinks someone may have peed in the hallways. As if that wasn't enough, smell carried all the way into the rooms which was not properly clean, tv and refigerator did not work. First of all for any hotel to let guests go through this is ridiculous.
Couldn't stand it so i moved to a more "breathable" floor.
Stuck in my room for a whole day and half because the key machine didnt get fixed until the following day.
Housekeeping didnt clean my room on for 2 days because a DND sign was put on my door at 7:50am, which i removed before heading out at 8:30. How in the world does housekeeping not come back to make sure that this wasn't put only temporary. I do not appreciate anyone banging on my door at 7:30am .This hotel does not cease to baffle me. I hope i do not ever have to stay here again.
The front desk staff were courteous and nice. That i will give.
