1. Room upon check-in was not made up and next to elevator. Profile specifies room not near elevator.
2. New room had long black hairs in bathroom sink.
3. Bath and hand soaps have changed and were a generic "roadside inn" look and feel. That cheapens the HIExpress brand.
4. Hotel is no longer providing hand lotion as an amenity.
Seems as though the brand is cheapening their image. The hotel did reduce their nightly rate, although at those prices, I would expect more. Even though I have a few more months of work in the area, I won't be staying here again until assurances are given that the brand is taking steps to improve.

I stay in multiple Holiday Inn Express Properties mainly for the consistency.
Since I am on the road so much a comfortable bed is essential.
The bed at the hotel was one of the worse I have ever slept on definetely not the standard for a Holiday Inn Express.
The price of the hotel was inflated for the property.

Cost verses value was poor I know this hotel is in the big middle of the gas boom and doesn’t have any issues staying full but this was be the first and last time I will stay here. the beds were sad and the house keeping appears to be of little importance.

Everything about this place is top notch. The rooms are very nice, and comfortable. The staff is excellent in every aspect of customer service. I wont stay anywhere else in Alice

I love my Holiday Inn Express stays but the one in Alice, Texas is the worst I've ever stayed at and will stay in and drive from another town, motel if I have to the next time I'm in Alice. Cost was double what I've paid at others, personnel couldn't tell me if I was getting my rewards discount & manager not available. Room floor had not been vacuumed, clumps of dried mud all over floor, coffee pot had not been emptied so apparently not cleaned although bathroom and bedding appeared clean. Some kind of bugs in room - looked like termites. Just won't stay there again.
