Stayed at this HIEX on July 20, Folio # 143095, was supposed to stay for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to the condition of the room (#244)! Wall paper peeling off the walls, musty odor throughout, dirty floor in bathroom, room NOT cleaned during the day while we were out, and this was an UPGRADE room! Spoke with "Tiffany" front desk supervisor, who "seemed" to agree that this was a common problem. Tiffany did reduce the charges and offered an additional 1000 Program "Points" as compensation. As of today my account has not been credited with these points, also, I have not been credited with the 300 "check in" bonus points. When can I expect to see these in my account? Also, on check in, front desk did not know how to sell me tickets for the Ford experience, nor acknowledge my Gold status. This is perhaps the worst experience that I have ever had at a HIEP. Been a member since about 1992,am currently Gold, was Platinum for a while, so I know what to expect, I did not receive that expectation at this hotel. Very disappointed.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Check in pay policy I wanted to pay in cash but my credit car would have been charged $100.00 for incidentails Really !
Breakfast was very nice although the sausage I did not like. When checking in the clerk was not friendly and did not seen to know very much about the area. The sheets where clean but not crisp look although the linen had not been changed.

Words can not explain my disappointment with this hotel and my stay. The AC DID NOT WORK AND THE TEMP WAS OVER 100 DEGREES FOR 3 DAYS! STAFF WAS TOLD ON DAY 1 AND NO ONE ADDRESSED OR EVEN RESPONDED TO THE PROBLEM. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN.

1. Help with your IHG membership may be ignored if its the manager of the hotel.
2. There is a better than good chance housekeeping won't clean your room after you have arrived. Plus you will be required to go down to the front desk to get your own new towels.
3. The free breakfast looks like it would be great, if most of the machines weren't broken.
4. Hotel does look great on the inside and out, the rooms themselves are nice (especially the ones with the two person hot tub, and fireplaces). But the customer service just absolutely ruins what could be such a great hotel stay.
