Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Seems to be on hold due to pending sale Wife and I took our grandson to Henry Ford Museum and this hotel had a great location but not much else. Pool was not working or the hot tub. Pool area smelt moldy. Breakfast only had half the items, pancake machine we were told had not worked in months. No hard boiled eggs. No hot sauce. Internet did not work in the room, not the Wi Fi or using the Ethernet cable. Requested a new cable to see if that was the problem. They took the old one and never brought us a new one. Only suggestion I was given was at 10 pm I was told we could pack up all our things and grandson and move to new room, but was also told that the internet was working just fine in the hotel so that is all they could do was move us to a smaller room to see if that helped. By then we had been in the room for 8 hours and figured why move now. picked out a DVD to play in room, when we arrived the one we picked out was not the one they gave us. Took back to front desk and they said "Oh, we don't have the movie you requested". Please invest some new money into this hotel or drop it from your chain. November 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outdated This hotel is very outdated and really needs a good cleaning. The beds were very clean and the floor but the bathroom really needed repair. But over all very nice. And it is very close to a lot of offerings in the Detroit area. November 18, 2015

There was a nice outside area where I was able to relax after a full day of activities. The hotel was located in a very quiet area but still only minutes from downtown Detroit. I would definitely stay at this hotel when returning to the Detroit area. November 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I was booked under another guest's name!!!! The unforgivable mistake made here is that my reservation was made under another guest name! Can you imagine the frustration and panic when I got to the hotel for an event and I was not booked even though I had called 2 days before. And as you can imagine the promotional rate that I got when I called two days before, was not honored. I had in mind to swalk out of the hotel , but as I came out of town and had to attend my event , I was stuck. The other problem I had was that I was checked out the day after my arrival even though I indicated I was gonna st a y 3days. The air conditioner in my room was not circulating. To get the benefit of the air conditioning, you had to sit right in front of the air conditioner. The water in the bathroom would not drain. I found the rest of the hotel amenities in the regular style of Holiday Inn express- excellent. Just to recap, can you imagine that this review was sent to me in that other guests name, can they not correct the mistake??? October 28, 2015
