We used this hotel as a base for a six day trip to Detroit. The hotel staff were informative and helpful, this was important as we are not familiar with the USA (we are from the UK). I found the hotel was value for money and would stay there again. The hotel does not offer 5 star service, however the room rates are not 5 star prices. We were quite satisfied with the levels of service offered by this hotel and would use again.

this location is not as nice as it once was, however we made the best of it! It is nice have all of the restaurants near by. There is a lot of traffic there now (not fond of that) and the halls smelled like cigarette smoke!

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express many times when we go to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. We have had the pleasure of using our Reward Nights several times and have been very pleased. This time, however, we were not so happy. While we had a comfortable bed and room, and it was quiet (tk you), the food at the breakfast left a lot to be desired, not up to their normal standards! Missed the biscuits and gravy. While the breakfast service was very good, the hot food choices were not as tasty as we remember from prior visits. For a holiday weekend price, this time, I did not feel it was worth the price. First time I am saying that! We hope it will improve next time we visit in July.
