Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pasota Great Service - new, clean, modern Rooms
This was our best Holiday Inn Express experience we had so far!
Due to our anniversary trip we got a nicely prepared room (several folded towels as animal figures)- this was a surprise.
The hotel is quite new and therefore the rooms are still new and clean.
We would definately choise this hotelnagain when being in that area.
Please continue that servive!

As we planned trip to Big Bend National Park we planned for no particular reason a stop in Alpine. What a delightful town. This hotel is just across street from Sul Ross U and their Big Bend Museum. Latter is well worth a visit. Plan for an hour with option to stay longer. Great introduction to the park including geology, Native American, European settlers and role of black cowboys post Civil War. Front desk had directions and recommendations to make stay enjoyable and interesting the museum and restaurants. Museum host pointed us to Marfa Lights, worth the short drive out to the viewing area after dark. Before leaving we discovered we needed a pair of shoes to replace misplaced pair and in short order discovered kindred spirit with great suggestion at The Prescription Shop and great substitute shoes at Johnson Feed and Western Wear. Great West Texas welcome and friendly people! Go enjoy!

The hotel looked clean upon entry and was throughout. The personnel there made us feel welcome and had suggestions for our two days sightseeing. Overall a very pleasant experience.
