We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Altoona PA.
The front desk staff was very friendly. They happily reassigned us a room so we could be closer to our family in another room. The housekeepers did a great job cleaning the rooms. In fact all areas of the hotel were extremely clean. I would stay here again.

The room had a distinct smell of old smoke. I have never smelled this in one of the Holiday Inn rooms in my past history with your company. I mentioned it to a desk clerk. She said she'll bring her smoke remover spray bottle up. I was quite leary on is process. She indicated all the rooms were filled therefore I couldn't move. I thought for a platinum member they always kept an emergency room or two available. However she did spray. I was impressed with the way most of the ordor went away. This is the first comment letter that I ever have written about an issue.

I had a incident that could have been a bigger nightmare than it was. The Night Clerk Dave, was instrumental in making sure my comfort was first and he assured me things would me taken care of. The General Manager got things rolling in the right direction immediately in the morning and she made sure I was aware of the circumstances and that she was making sure everything was correct. it was impressive to say the least to see a team of staff operate in a completely fluid like manner. everyone was respectful and courteous.. I appreciate them and their efforts to make me happy. i would recommend these people and their establishment any time....

I had to stay in Altoona on business over 10 times within the past year. Everytime I always choose Holiday Inn and everytime it was extremely comfortable and the staff treated me like a friend. Located right in the middle of downtown. Great bed and shower. Good complimentary breakfast. Warm cookies in the afternoon. I would recommend the Holiday inn Altoona to anyone!

Wonderful experience, had my 9 year grand daughter and she was very comfortable with the room, service and breakfast in the morning. the staff was very friendly and the hotel spotless.
