Extremely courteous staff working with a high volume of young softball players and families made the place enjoyable and clean. The local areas were always cleaned immediately, food was available, and staff always cheerful. A very pleasant overnight stay on the road after a long day driving. Anyone traveling through Amarillo should seriously consider stopping here as a nice oasis in the southwest. It is marked in our books as a return destination when traveling through here again.

This Holiday Inn Express is really quite wonderful. Very updated look that feels like it is 2014 and not the 90s when you walk in. The room is very comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was excellent. My bathroom had its own television! I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to others passing through Amarillo like I was. The breakfast was just ok - edible but nothing special. Overall, an excellent hotel.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and very comfortable.

Dawn and the other front desk personnel were friendly, inviting and professional. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of the overall appearance and accomodations provided at this Holiday Inn Express.

This was a very disappointing experience. Angie, who checked us in was not only rude to us, but also to the people who showed up behind us without a reservation and wanting a room. As a platinum member, I chose to receive the Welcome Bonus Points, but they have not been awarded. My kids used the pool, but there weren't any towels on the rack. When I came to the front desk to ask for towels, the girl assured me there were towels at the pool. I insisted there weren't and asked for 2 towels for my kids. Instead of handing me the towels she carried a stack to the pool area and placed them on the empty rack without a word to me. The next morning we went down for breakfast about 8:00 AM and there weren't any spoons or knives available. I asked an employee if there were any spoons and she looked at me and walked off without replying. When we checked out I mentioned the rudeness of the staff to the Assistant Manager. He said he would award us some bonus points for all of our trouble. Twelve days later we have not been awarded our Welcome points, our additional points and I had to contact Priority Club to even acknowledge our stay. I would rather have a welcoming environment over a TV in the bathroom any day!

Looks nice on the outside and is very nice on the inside. Check in and check out was very fast.

We made our reservations in May for July. Ask for adjoining rooms and was told that the Hotel had no adjoining rooms in this facility. So we ask for rooms next to each other and they said that could be done. I arrived at the Hotel at 1:00 PM and they said our rooms would be ready in about an hour and I ask if they were together and was told they would be next to each other or across the hall. When we returned we were given rooms on the same floor but on opposite ends of the Hotel. This was totally not acceptable but the staff said that was all that was available. It divided up myself and my wife and split up 5 Grandkids. Oh and my room was an adjoining room that we were told the hotel did not have.
Other than the staff not making it right the stay was not bad.
I guess IGH Rewards Club does not mean anything......
