Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Family Fun I live in Sacramento. Had niece and her boyfriend (both from Houston Texas) visiting. Enjoyed the stay and convenience of nearby wineries, tours, and tasting experiences. Not sure if the hotel offered shuttle service to any of the nearby wineries, but would enjoy that service for future visits if offered. Would have liked to have an IHG Club Member hotel available closer to downtown Napa so that I don't have to drive to better enjoy the area after tasting. May 2, 2016

Pool and hot tub area needing some minor maintenance, better pillow and softer towels, but typical, nothing to stop you from enjoying your stay and a wonderful hotel! April 22, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent location, nice exterior, average interior Overall, "American Canyon" is a little bit off the beaten path, about 15 minutes from downtown Napa and about 20 minutes from Sonoma, but it's convenient enough. There's a nice little shopping plaza right next to the property with a Starbucks, Walmart, Sonic, and several fast food restaurants, so that was definitely a plus. When I saw the outside of the hotel, I was excited since it looked like a new property, but once I went inside I realized it just had an exterior facelift and was actually an older property. The "suite" I stayed in wasn't really a suite at all, it was just a king room with a sofa. I was at the end of the hallway on the 3rd floor, so the stairs were the closest option since the hotel only has one elevator in the center of the property. The room was definitely dated, but clean enough. I could hear quite a bit through the walls from the TV of the guy next to us. I paid with points cash, so I can't really complain about value TOO much. Would I stay here again? Maybe. If it were cheap enough, but I wouldn't go out of my way. Front desk staff was hit or miss, some were nice and some were very apathetic. I didn't get a welcome amenity or points as a Platinum member. April 20, 2016
