Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by enjoyable stay The minute we arrived ,hot and tired,the receptionist gave us iced water which was a good start. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. That first night,not wanting to go into the city the receptionist ordered us in some take away food which we were able to eat in the dining area. The room could do with some cupboard space for our clothes but was very comfortable. Although out the city the tram/Metro stop is a few metres away and they come every 5 mins .It took about 25 mins for the tram to get to Central Station and the metro a little less. The tram was more enjoyable as you saw alot more. Amsterdam Zuid station is the closest to the Airport and is 3 Metro stops away . October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great staff We enjoyed our stay. The hotel manager made our stay exceptional. Gave us an upgrade room. Very helpful with directions to city and transportation. Breakfast was also very good. Only problem I had is that I did not get the bonus points added to my account being I am a platinum member or IHG. Would definitely stay there again. October 15, 2014

I have seen some "interesting" requests which they meet with professionalism and courtesy despite the requests being strange and outside of something a 3 star hotel would cater for I wish some guests would be more realistic and polite in their requests too and they would in turn see how good the staff are here October 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service As already stated in previous reviews the standard of service offered by the staff at this hotel far exceeds the normal service received at most hotels, the breakfast may not be 'full English' so may not meet some guests expectations but considering it is free, is excellent and you can eat as much or little as you want, Location is good and is a short walk from the tram/metro with easy access to central Amsterdam, and Schipol airport. My only negative which is not really the hotels fault is that there are no obvious restaurants close to the hotel so evening meal requires a trip into Amsterdam. October 10, 2014

In the room, a coffee maker, good bed, bath and silent night. Far away from centrum, but with good public transport. Near there are a supermarket and a good restaurant. October 8, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place for the Kosher traveler This place has all the right stuff. Comfortable rooms, great staff. But it also offers a kosher breakfast, shabbat keys, places to heat food for shabbat, as well as refrigeration. They recommend places close to the hotel to purchase take out. We had a great time there and met other people, went to a local orthodox shul. It is less than 15 minutes outside of town by local tram. Totally accommodating place. September 5, 2014

It's a short walk to the train and a quick trip into the city or out to see the country side. The service was superb, but breakfast poor and no fridge in the room September 4, 2014

Conveniently located near all the kosher restaurants in Amsterdam, near a bakery where you can buy sandwiches to take with you during the day. Kosher breakfasts in the hotel. comfortable beds with a choice of luxurious pillows. Spacious, clean bathrooms with large showers. Take your own shampoo and shower gel if you want more than offered, the all-in-one variety, but which is fine for a few days stay! August 31, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Basic room but close to transportation The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I asked if I could store my luggage for a couple of days while I visited Brussell and they were very accomadating. The hotel is very close to metro and tram line (they use the same tracks and platform) and it took about 15 minutes to get to Central Station in Amsterdam by metro and 25 minutes by tram but a nice ride. The room was very basic but clean. It would of been better if there were drawers to store clothing but if you are there for a couple of days we lived out of our suitcases. The entire staff, from manager to cleaning help, was friendly and courteous at all times. The breakfast was nicely presented and certainly appetizing. We definitely recommend this hotel and would return, if the occasion arises. The staff lent a new meaning to the word "hospitable." August 12, 2014
