Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible We stay at a lot of Holiday Expresses and have never ran into the problems we did here. Immediately had to request a new room as the one we were given smelled of strong urine, toilet was not working properly and the air conditioning was so loud we would of never slept. After a 10 hr drive was not what I wanted to walk into. The breakfast bar was stone cold - nothing was even near hot. A very disappointing stay - would not recommend to anyone. July 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spacious and accomodating We were in town for a wedding, and most of the bridal party stayed at a nearby hotel. When trying to book a room at said hotel, I was told no rooms were available. Instead, I booked at room at Holiday Inn Express (where I had stayed in the past). It was a great decision. It was a better environment than the hotel the rest of the group was staying in. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool and fitness area were available and well kept. Overall it was a very pleasant experience! July 14, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location We are frequently working at Hoosier Park and this site is very close to the track. Rooms are great with comfortable beds, but pillows are not my type. Too soft. We know that we will get a clean room every time. Breakfast is very good with lots of choices and attendant keeps it very clean. July 13, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not much to choose from in the area... The staff was outstanding...kind and patient with children, quick to refill breakfast and to provide towels, etc. for room. I continue to be disappointed with the decline in cleanliness of hotel rooms I am seeing lately in all areas of the country, in multiple hotel chains...the room was generally clean, but the grout needs to be redone in the showers and the vacuuming was not "flawless". I question room cleanliness when I see small wrappers/threads, visible lint on the floor of a hotel room I am entering for the first time. Because of a convention in town, the hotel was booked, as were its major competitors so prices were outrageous. I actually paid less the next night in Chicago for the same quality room! Finally, I was over charged on my "quick checkout" bill and would not have noticed the overcharge if I had not carefully reviewed the individual charges. July 11, 2015
