This was a brief stay(1 night), but it was the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed at this property. As always, it was clean, well kept, and the staff was awesome. Definitely the place to stay in Anderson!

I have spent a lot of time in HIEs over the past several years and the front desk is almost always friendly and helpful.
Not this hotel. The woman checking me in could not have cared less that I was there.
When I asked about the lack of diet sodas in ALL machines, she said "Yep" - that was it...
The bathroom was NOT clean; hair from previous guests still in tub.
Could hear noise and slamming doors all night.

i WAS ON A BUSINESS TRIP AND WE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL INSTEAD OF THE USUAL ONE WE USE IN THE AREA. I WILL SWITCH ALL OF MT FUTURE VISITS TO THIS HOTEL.

This is a great place to stay while in the Anderson, SC area. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are immaculate and comfortable. My only nitpick is that the remote for the tv changes the channels extremely slow. Other than that minor issue this place would be hard to beat in Anderson. It's the first hotel off of the interstate and it has several good places to eat, a gas station/convenience store, and a movie theater all within easy walking distance(awesome location).

Great hotel -- everything required for a relaxing and comfortable stay in a convenient location for restaurants and access to I-85. Price is right!

I'm not sure what the problem was but it generally took 6 to 10 tries to get the key-card to work in the door lock. In the morning, breakfast was supposed to "begin" at 6:30. There was a very limited selection of items available at 6:40. The bread was individually wrapped in Saran Wrap and had been refrigerated. Not only was it very difficult to unwrap, the bread was stale. By 7:10, the pancake machine was brought out and gravy and biscuits were available. I can understand that it may be difficult to provide the "implied promised" services the day after Christmas, but the staff at the front desk should warn the guests about that - if there should be any doubt...
We have stayed at many HI Express Hotels - this one is not "average."
