Double check your room bill when you check out; ours was incorrect; and still incorrect on our cc statement. Staff was pleasant! January 12, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by fair for the price This stay did not live up to the expectations I had from staying at other Holiday Inn Express hotels in the same area. The heater unit was loud and periodically made noises like a mouse was caught inside the fan. Power went out and we were given a flashlight and some glow sticks, the staff tried to be accommodating but we were told we would not be reimbursed if we decided to stay the night even if the power never came back on. The free breakfast was ok if you just ate the prepared cold foods, cereal etc. But the promised hot items were pretty much not edible. On the good side the beds and pillows were very soft and comfy. The room was very nice, if the heating / cooling unit was not so archaic it would have been much more pleasant. January 7, 2015

Since it was a holiday, they went out of the way to make sure we had an enjoyable time - first by upgrading our room type and greeting us in a friendly manner whenever we left and reentered the lobby. The housekeeping staff we encountered were also very open and friendly. The room was clean. The only complaint is the heating unit in the room sometimes made the air too warm. Seemed to hard to get the right temperature. Also the lighting was rather too dim in the bedroom area of the suite for reading in bed. It would have been nice to have a floor lamp on the side of the bed away from the table lamp. December 29, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Will be back Your front desk folks were very nice. Many hotels today have people that are indifferent and lack warmth. I resent that and seldom go back to that hotel. Your folks combined expertise and warmth. A laudable exception to what one finds. Anastasia went out of her way to help me. She worked with me to enter the rewards program. I will be staying away many nights this year and will single out HIX because of her efforts. December 24, 2014
