Staff has always been pleasant and willing to answer any questions we've had. Multiple visits/ stays for us at this hotel and will be our stay on many more visits. July 22, 2013

This trip the staff even showed me how to upload an excellent app for directions on my phone. They taught me how to use it as well...really above and beyond the call of duty!!! Thanks Bethany. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always excellent! I bring my parents (ages 85 & 89) two to three times a year to meet up with my Dad's best buddy from their days serving our country in WWII. The General Manager here and her team are wonderful. My mom has Alzheimer's and travel makes it worse and yet they are always great with her. Room so comfy and food always tasty and plentiful. We stay at many HIE's around the country and this one is always our favorite. Highly recommend. June 11, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A Cut Below The toilet ran constantly and the repair guy never showed up. Some of what we noticed is lack of care in little things like mattress fitting the bed frame and lamps that made sense for where they were put. Too few outlets. May 24, 2013

The room was comfortable and clean, with enough room to read, write, or watch TV. I would certainly recommend your hotel to family/friends. I realized, just yesterday, that I had taken my room "key" with me. Do you want me to mail it back to you? I haven't checked with my friend about her key. She may very well have her key also. Ann Arbor is a lovely city. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. May 20, 2013

Disappointed that there was no mouthwash available. Perfect location in terms of getting the shuttle to the Michigan Stadium for granddaughter's commencement. I was in a rush out the door, I quickly looked at the breakfest bar for fruit and could not find any, and started to leave. I was greet with a friendly smile from Barbara who ask if I was looking for anything in particular? I told her fruit, and she told me she would go back in the kitchen to get me some. She came out with fruit. She made the extra effort to provide me with excellent customer service. Thank you, Barbara. I appreciate your effort and professionalism. Nice, clean rooms. The only problem was that the only mirror in the entire suite was in the bathroom. With 3 people getting ready, a lot of extra time is needed. Please add at least a full length mirror in the bedroom April 24, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Issues with Ann Arbor Holiday Inn Overall this is not one of the better Holiday Inn Express hotels I frequent. There is no workout room--a big issue. There are no cookies or treats offered upon check in like every other Holiday Inn Express I have been to. The elevator is very slow, which is an annoyance. I think this property needs to be updated. Staff went out of their way to give us suggestions on how to stay clear of all the traffic and commotion due to the game. Will stay there again when we go back for future appointments. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by vibration noises in my room I asked the fron t desk to have a vibration noise fixed while we were out the second day. They failed to report to the maintenence so we were kept up the second night as well. We were not offered a different room even though it was not sold out. We were told the manager would call us about a refund since they (the manager) was not there when we checked out. We did not recieve a call. December 15, 2012

There was a guest that was dropped off by a taxi but their reservation was for another hotel. The desk clerk was able to get the taxi to return and take the guest to the correct hotel. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by what happened? This will be my fourth and final time staying at the Ann Arbor HI Express. It has gone downhill rapidly. From the uneaten yogurt container that sat on the lobby coffee table the entire length of my stay (3 days) to the fact that my scheduled wake-up call never happened, to no working heat in the hotel room, to the mean front desk rep, to the fact that I left the hotel at 7:45 am and got back at 3:15 pm and housekeeping was just getting to my room and said they could only clean right at that moment or not at was not worth the money, and next time I'll stay elsewhere October 24, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fun Football Weekend We stayed at this hotel during homecoming weekend. The staff provided very helpful, friendly service. Our room was well maintained and comfortable. Although the hotel was full, there was no noise carrying into the rooms so we had a pleasant, quiet stay. The hotel location is very convenient for a football weekend. If you like to walk, you can walk to the football game--we did. Other options are taking a bus to the stadium or parking at multiple locations on State Street. Every single member of the staff was helpful and friendly. I had a king room that was very spacious. VERY confortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was set up perfectly for a girl's morning primping. The hot tub was wonderful at the end of a long day. The only downside was the heat/AC control. - not regulated by a digital thermastat. My choices were high/low cool or high/low heat. The hotel was located close to 94, and also a short drive to downtown, and a mall just across from the parking lot. The breakfast was nice every morning, and I miss the pancake machine!
