And above all she made us feel very welcome throughout our 5 days stay in the hotel. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Comfortable Pleasant stay - seems to have been refreshened very recently - new carpets and paint - hotel was very clean and neat, without general signs of wear and tear. Front desk staff was very warm and friendly at check-in - definitely felt welcome. Room was very clean, comfortable, and generally quiet, despite facing the street. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the immediate area, but a bit far from downtown Annapolis, unless you love a good walk - about 3 miles from center of old Annapolis. May 17, 2016

Originally paid for the romantic getaway upgrade, but the room did not have the additional items to come with the package. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad experience My experience was bad from the minute I entered the lobby and got an attitude from the woman working behind the desk. Her co-worker was yelling to some other people sitting at the breakfast tables while I was trying to check in. The hotel stunk like something had been sprayed to cover up a smell. I will never stay at this location again. Employees were standing out in front of the hotel smoking. May 9, 2016
