Room carpet stained, heater noisy, bathroom vanity was very worn and looked like it had substantial water damage. Should have been replaced a long time ago. Room had two double beds instead of queens. Avoid room 306. January 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking rooms and friendly staff. Both my husband and I both smoke and it is nice to find that there are still some hotels that have smoking rooms. This hotel is very clean and everyone was very friendly. The breakfast had plenty of choices. Everything looked delicious. The room was a good size and all of the furniture was very comfortable. We have stayed there twice and was very pleased with both stays. January 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable atmosphere I have been here on a weekly basis since Dec '14 and overall quite please w/ the hotel . From the front desk staff friendliness to the room cleanliness all make me feel very safe and relax. In most HI Express, the breakfasts setup are very similar and in this particular hotel they cater to Japanese patrons w/ hot steam rice, Miso soup base, various Japanese rice flavor shakes, seaweed snack. Nice touch. However, I do wish HI Express corporate management would ask their vendor to supply better Bacon for breakfast. The bacon in all of the HI Express Inns that I have been to (and believe me I have been in quite many different HI Express places) are ALL like paper thin. you have to really grab a bunch at a time to really feel that you are eating bacon Somehow I don't think my comment on bacon are really getting any attention because I commented the same thing in each HI Express hotel I stayed at. How much more does it cost to get better, thicker bacon I wonder? Don't know about other guests but I would be gladly pay a few dollar mores daily to get a bit better food for morning.
