This is an older hotel, so don't expect anything state-of-the-art, but the location is great, the customer service is great, breakfast was delicious, and the bed was comfortable.

We stayed at this location because it was close to our customer. The property is newer so no unwelcome odors or annoyances. Breakfast variety was good, etc. During our stay Chicago was hit by a cold Dec. rain & snow storm. I was so thankful that the desk staff had gone out and scraped the car windshields!! We live in Minneapolis and had expected that we would have to start our day chipping the glaze off our rental car.

Three room light bulbs are out when checked in, and called for replaced the light bulbs, but he changed 2 lights only. Is that for cost savings?
Other than that, fine for me.

Everyone at this property makes you feel like their top priority, they are friendly, helpful and do all that they can to make sure that your stay is the best it can be. The hotel is clean and well maintained and they are always making improvements to amenities and services to keep the hotel looking fresh.

During our stay. We had a funeral and my family came from out of town. The staff was so kind to my relatives and understanding of our grieving for my little 3 year old grandson.
Thanks so much for being there for me and my family during this time of sorrow. You will never be forgotten.
Your Hotel Holiday Inn Express and Staff are really awesome.

I have been staying at this hotel pretty much every other week since March of 2011. This is the best experience that I have ever had with a hotel. It starts with the shuttle service to and from O'hare airport. Always on time with courteous and professional drivers. The facility itself is immaculate and situated in a location that is convenient to business, dining and shopping. A very nice complimentary breakfast is provided each morning. Now for the best part. The staff is composed of the most amazing, courteous, and professional people that I have ever encountered in all my stays at any hotel. They are friendly, accommodating, and professional in all ways. I very much look forward to seeing them on my numerous trips to the area. You cannot go wrong by choosing this place to stay.

Being a regular user of HI I have gotten used to the services at HI. But at this hotel, there was no newspaper delivery to the room nor was the bill placed under my door upon departure. I like to read my morning paper over my first cup of coffee without having to leave my room....not so here!

THIS HOTEL HAD A VERY BAD ODOR OF SMOKERS, HOW ABOUT HAVING THE SMOKING ROOMS IN ONE AREA ONLY, NOT THE WHOLE HOTEL. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS LOCATION.

I had no idea about traveling to and from my destinations. The staff was very helpful in feeling in the gaps. The van service started my day and suggested taxi and rail services were great especially late nights. The rooms were great. Very good location to shopping and restrurants and major highway system and rail.

Stayed here on our trip throgh Chicago due to the availability of a 2-room suite, and I'm VERY happy we did. The room was huge, with a seperate room with King bed and a DOOR that could be closed. Family room area had a wet bar type area with a refrigerator, sink and microwave. Had a pull-out full size bed and plenty of extra room for a roll-away bed.
Staff couldn't have been better! From the check-in to breakfast the next morning, our experience was great. I would have easily paid $50-75 more for this room and still felt like I had underpaid for what I got.
Highly recommended!

Easy to get to, especially if you are shopping at the nearby mall, or flying in or out of O' Hare, off Algonquin, but a few blocks from the Jane Adams Tollway, the facility is excellent, staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking, rooms are comfortable, well decorated, and the beds and linens are as soft and warm as they can get, food in the morning is an excellent selection, great place to stay, highly recommend this facility!!

They still smoke in this hotel. Although, I’m told it is limited to the third floor. It smells of cigarette smoke as soon as you walk through the door.
The room had little pieces of trash & beer bottle cap. The comforters were dirty one with bodily stains & the other with a smeared bug. The sheets had hair on them. Some of the pillows had hair & stains.
The breakfast was brought out fresh just before 10(the time breakfast is over) & taken while people were trying to make their plates. The housekeepers showed up & took plates from the breakfast area back to the back room, where the fresh breakfast was taken, to make their plates.

The guest rooms in this property are much larger than most hotels of this quality and price range. There really is room for a sofa and coffee table, as well as a writing desk....and no risk of colliding with the bed when walking between sofa / desk / bed. A great property for those traveling with family.
