Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by nice room and location but horrible customer service. The floor in the room was gross to walk on. it was sticky and hard. We got to check in earlly which was about the only good thing about the front desk staff that was good. The manager on both shifts and the other staff there were VERY rude. there was a mix up with the reservaations and they didn't want to take any accountability for the mix up or try to work things out. They just kept saying i was wrong. Then they had attitude with me the whole time i was trying to figure things out. Not a good experience at all. The staff on the overnight shift on saturday and the staff on sunday was a LOT better. The shuttle driver was very nice and patient. September 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness We stayed in room 201, which was a non-smoking room. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke and there was a slight cigarette smoke odor in the room. The sofa and carpet was stained, which is not typical of HIE that we have stayed in other parts of DFW and other states. September 8, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall really good except ... Enjoyed our stay. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable bed. One negative. On arrival, we discovered that our pullout bed that we needed for our daughter filled room and that it was impossible to move around or exit in an emergency. Our solution was to ask front desk to remove a coffee table so the room was usable and safe. Our request was met with hostility by night manager who went so far as to ask if we "wanted to be moved to a smaller room." We told him we were putting the table in the hall and he said we would be charged if anything happened to table. BTW we were staying for 9 nights. He was so threatening that we decided not to address it with day manager for fear of retribution. Later in our stay the same night manager called and said they had lost our credit card info and did we want to give it to him over the phone. No, we didn't. We went to the desk where we were told by a different worker that everything was in order DNS that they didn't need anything from us. This was 5 minutes after the call. Very strange.
