THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME WE CHOSE THIS HOTEL, SO I CAN TELL ABOUT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN LAST YEAR.
SINCE WE ARRIVED WE NEVER FOUND THIS WELCOME AMENITIES AS PRIORITY MEMBERS ALTHOUGH WE HAD A 10 DAYS STAY!
EVERY MORNING AT 9:30 WE RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM HOUSEKEEPING THAT THEY FOUND THE NOT DISTURB IN THE DOOR SO WE HAD TO ASK THE FRONT DESK TO TELL THEM TO CLEAN IT. ??!!
THE SURPRISE WAS BIGGER WHEN WE RECEIVED PRIOR TO CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR AN ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT NOT HAVING HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE FOR BOTH DAYS.
I HAD NEVER BEEN IN A HOTEL WHERE THEY PUT THIS KIND OF CONDITIONS FOR THE GUESTS!!!
IF WE ADD THIS TO THE INSANE KIND OF AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM THAT NEVER WARMED THE ROOM.....REALLY BAD

We had a free night from points and an AARP rate for a suite the secomd night. They upgraded our free night to a suite, and we were more than pleased. Clean....which is our TOP criteria and a pleasant staff.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express for one nigh. Very convenient, right off of I-20, close to shopping and restaurants. Friendly and quick check-in, not to mention Great Priority Club recognition by the young lady at the desk. Breakfast was nice, great location will stay again when coming back to the area.

I have been in several Holiday Inn Express's and this is by far the best. Stayed there 3 days a week ago and decided to come back for another 3 days this week while I take care of some personal business. Rooms are clean, staff is superb, overall a great experience! Would be nice to get some complimentary water as a membership perk. Some of the other Holiday Inn Express's we visited offered this service.

I continue to stay at this location because of the excellent staff and the service they provide. From the front desk to housekeeping each and everyone of them makes sure that you are welcomed and your stay pleasant. With rooms and amenities being virtually the same across all the hotel brands, you really notice the service.
If I would make a change I would have the TVs work better. They never seem to be able to tune in the station you want watch.

I have been staying at this Holiday Inn Express Since 2004.
The fact that I have not been able to make reserations without any problems since the new Manager took over is very disapointing.
I have always love the location and the hotel it self as well as the staff, I always bring people from out of town for my Church events and have them stay at this hotel, but the manager refused to work with me was very disapointing.
Its a great location for anyone traveling in the area as well as great staff but the lack of understanding of the managment is making me take my business elsewhere.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. It is a very nice hotel with a great location. It is very close to restaurants and the mall. It is also very easy to get to with its close location to the freeway. The staff has always been freindly accommodating! I will stay again at this hotel again in the future!!

From the moment of our arrival we were treated as honored guests with our desires for convenience, comfort, and accommodation met immediately. We'll return to 1-20 Parks Mall Holiday Inn Express the next time we visit the MetroPlex.

I was Very disappointed with this hotels service.
I have send concerns to Holiday inn twice and the hotel once with no response from either.
Upon arrival to my room the keys did not work. Hate that.
Upon entry to my room the smell in the room was overpowering. Like nasty rotten cinnamon apple.
That night I approached the front desk and asked if they normally spray something in the room. She told me they only use fabreese.
I asked if they had a challenge with that room that they were trying to cover up and she assure me that was not the reason. I then asked for the spray not to be used the next morning explaining how bad it was.
It was again used the next day. When I stopped by around noon the room was again horrible. I shut off the AC unit and opened the window to try and air it out. I retuned around 5:00 PM and this time the room totally smelled like an ashtray. I know what that smell is as my mom recently passed from CPOD.
I went to the desk and asked if my profile has non smoking preferred on it and she said no.
I check my profile at my room and not only did my profile say non smoking like I thought but the reservation also said non smoking. I can send you a copy if you like.
Friday morning I had to get some computer work before going out so I had not removed the DND from the door. I received a note (under the door) saying we stopped by to service your room and could not. “Please contact the front desk for any supplies you may need or you may set up a convenient time for us to service you room TOMORROW”.
Does room service only work until 11:00? I received the note under my door at 10:30.
I did let the front desk know about my concerns upon check out but really didn’t seem to care.
