A typically good HI Express. The thing that really dampened my enthusiasm was in the morning of our departure. As we were heading out the door, my wife asked for a couple of bottles of water for the long car ride. The front desk person explained that they couldn't provide water to us because, ahem, we weren't "gold members" or something. How petty. Think about how easy it would have been, at essentially zero cost, for them to have had two very happy customers. Instead, they had something else entirely.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn to relax and see the beautiful country around Ashland and Cater Later park. The Hotel staff was very kind and accomodating to all of our requests. The room was quiet and we slept like babies...very relaxing and comfortable.The breakfast was delicious and there was a great selection of food and beverages....Great Job

Staff really went out of their way to help me. I thought pool was locked and desk clerk went with me to confirm that my key would open door. Took computer to desk and got answers to my questions.

Reserved a guest suite 2 weeks out with a special request for pet accommodation. I prepaid for the room in full. Upon checking in i found that I had been changed to a basic room with no notification in advance or options given to me about making other arrangements for my pet. It took three trips to the front desk to get the financial issue rectified, I was forced to stay in the same basic room because of their "recently changed pet policy". I was then told I would be receiving a personal telephone call from the manager on Monday to address my concerns. It is now Wednesday evening and I don't believe I will ever be receiving that call. Loved my vacation, and am loyal to Holiday Inn Express, but there is a nice hotel next door. I will be allowing them to demonstrate a better version of customer service to me next time. My loyalty is up for grabs. Sorry Holiday Inn. :(

The room was pleasant with sufficient room for both adults and our dog. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay at this location again.

Good location except for I5 traffic noise. Although muted, rooms facing the highway do receive some noise from trucks.
