Easy access. Convenient, safe location. Room was clean and had everything we needed, including a microwave and mini-fridge. Room was quiet. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and had a large variety of foods to choose from which included everything from fruit and cereal to scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, coffee, milk, juice, and tea.

The manager and her staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate all our needs. She has the gift of hospitality and makes guests feel welcome. This hotel is certainly blessed to have her as an employee and the next time I am in the area I will stay here again.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Energybender Less than I expect from a HIE
This hotel is getting older and not very well maintained. All the fixtures and furniture in the room seemed to be in need of updating including towels and bedding. Parking lot was poorly lit and accommodated an active urban raccoon population. The staff didn't seem too motivated toward guest comfort but did seem well practiced at making excuses. I stay a lot of nights in hotels and generally like the Holiday Inn Express chain but this property isn't up to standard. There are several options in the area and I'll choose another one next time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sandy911 Friendly staff and great service
My two sons and I stayed from 9-4 to 9-7 as we were in town for DragonCon. As we checked in the two ladies at the front desk were very friendly and efficient. We were given a very nice room that was very clean. The most important thing at that point was the A/C to my 19 year old son and it worked!!! The breakfasts were all very good and started us off to a great day. The beds were comfortable. Overall everything was excellent, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We were so busy with DragonCon we didn't even try the pool or exercise room. The foyer was very nice and modern and inviting.
We WILL be staying here again next year.

When I arrived there were no spaces in the tiny lot. The agent at the front desk moved their car so that I could have a place to park. Thats great service.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by hotelpatron Average hotel, poor service
The room had two double beds, a dorm size refrigerator, and a microwave. The bed was medium soft on a scale of soft, medium soft, medium, medium firm, firm. It actually started to bother my back after two nights because it was too soft for me. The shower had good water pressure, but the temperature fluctuated a couple of times while showering. There were only a couple of gas stations and a few restaurants within walking distance, but you had to cross a very busy interstate exit ramp to get to them. I was staying there because my vehicle was being fixed, so I had to walk. The hotel shuttle was in the shop, so that wasn't an option, but even if it was, they said it would only take me 3 miles.
I interacted with four different front desk people and only one of them was friendly. Two were average - just doing their jobs, and the remaining one seemed annoyed and irritated whenever I asked for something. I also noticed that same person be rude to another guest.
The wifi was very slow and would kick you off every two minutes, so I asked the front desk about it. They said they would reset the routers. It didn't work. The next day I asked a different person again, who said they would reset the routers. It was still not working. There must have been some other people asking about it, because later it started to work. I was told by the friendly front desk person that they found the router was disconnected on my floor. I'm guessing the first two times they didn't even try to reset the routers, because if they had, they would have seen that it was disconnected. That's poor customer service right there.
The breakfast was good, though. They had hot and cold items including biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, pancakes, toast, bagels, and breakfast cereals.
