We stayed at this hotel for a business weekend and were quoted a specific rate which was on the confirmation sheet. Upon arrival they tried to get me to sign a sheet with a higher rate, saying that the rate we were quoted was an "average rate".
I have never had a confirmation from a hotel in my 35 years of traveling that changes based on "averages" from what you are confirmed.
It took at least 2 visits per day to the front desk to get this issue resolved. Each visit was at least a half hour, usually more. We even got locked out of our room one night because we had not signed the paper for the higher rate.
If not for this complete hassle, this hotel would have been acceptable. Most of the front desk staff was as helpful as they could be. I just don't know why it was so hard for them to straighten this out.
There is no air conditioning in the elevators or hallways and the room air conditioners cut off once they get to a certain temp. Makes for a pretty hot stay in July in Atlanta.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff made you feel very welcome, and were very accommodating the rooms were very clean and beds comfortable, Only downside of the stay was the parking, garage about 2 blocks away and wouldn't go there alone, but they do have valet, overall I would stay there again when I go back to Atlanta

This hotel is not up to par with the several Holiday Inn and IHG properties I've stayed at. You could tell there was an attempt to renovate an old building, but the overall feel was gross and the place just wasn't what I was expecting. I planned on staying 2 weeks at this place and immediately started looking for another hotel the night I checked in. I was gone the next morning...

The staff was very nice and the breakfast was great. But the room was not big enough for 2 beds. No desk or comfortable chair. When you got out of the shower you had to open the bathroom door to have room to dry off. Never knew where our car was parked as there did not seem to be parking at the hotel. Not really even a place to stop and unload.

The staff was fine, the beds were comfortable, but the room was very small. The lobby and breakfast area were very plain. I would say the hotel is a place to sleep, but that's about it. It should be a lot lower price than it is.
The parking garage was really old and rather creepy.

I now wish I had not used my Reward points for this stay. When booking this hotel, I looked at the room choices and saw the Queen room was too small evidenced by the virtual tour so I looked at the double room and it looked much bigger. WRONG! When we arrived, after a very unwelcoming check in by the desk clerk, we got to our room and it was so small. There was little walkway because of the beds, dresser, table and chairs. The beds were extremely small which my partner and I had to sleep separately. The bathroom did not provide you room to do much and no counter space whatsoever.
In regards to checking in, the desk clerk appeared to not want to be there and have to deal with customers. I asked what time check out was and he said "its on the wall behind me." Thankfully I did get a thank you for staying with us comment.
The following morning, we went to breakfast and had to wait for items to be replenished as there was only one worker going as fast as she could while the other stood there chatting with another worker. When the bacon was brought out, it had so much white grease on the top like it had been sitting for a while. The worker put in in the pan and mixed it up in the bacon.
I was not satisfied with this stay and again regret using my rewards points. Will not use this property again.
