Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Comfortable room We went to Atmore to visit the Casino. We had not been in a while, so we decided to go. We always stay at this Holiday Inn. Everyone is so friendly here. The Breakfast Bar wasn't as good as it was the last time we went, but they had new cooks there this time we went. It is a nice clean, quiet friendly place to stay. We will stay there again. July 14, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Platinum Member unsatisfied My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting the Casino. We stayed for 2 nights. Upon Check In, the front desk rep was outside smoking on the back patio, taking a couple of minutes for her to come inside and check us in. Check in was very quick, handed me the keys. The folder did not have my point balance in it. Was not greeted as a Platinum PC Member, let alone a PC member at all. We work hard for these points, whether business or leisure related. Our Guest Room was next to the Elevator, Ice Machine and Laundry Machine. Again, as a Platinum Member I wouldn't think we would be placed here, unless it was the last room available and I booked the hotel a few days in advance. I used Points for this hotel stay and regret using my well earned points on not such a great experience. The room had a very good AC unit keeping our room perfectly cool. Our refrigerator had the last guests' food/drinks in it. Shower head had weak power. Normally, I would call the Front Desk about this, but seeing as how they were acting, I didn't think it would make a difference. The morning of check out, I asked for a 2PM late checkout and a different front desk employee said the latest she could give me was 1pm. I understand that some hotels are not able to accommodate late checkouts due to availability and rooms however, she was very unfriendly and didn't seem to care that I was even standing there with her. The same upon check out a few hours later.. handed her my keys and not one word was said to us. No "thank you". No "have a good day". Nothing. It will be a big surprise if we stay at this hotel again when visiting. July 2, 2014
