No heat in the room, the night we got there. Call front desk the next morning and told them. We left for 10 hours and came back and still no heat. They never looked at it. Went to dinner and came back around 7:00 and had heat. The next morning we had NO HOT WATER, nice.

Woke up the day of an important business meeting and after returning from the fitness room I discovered there was NO hot water! The water in pipes had to be barely above freezing and it was all I could do to prevent hypothermia from setting in. I hear this is not the 1st time this has happened at this hotel. All I got was an aopology and a 10% discount. Take my advice and find a different place to stay. I will.

I stayed here because I needed a mental health break and found exactly what I needed. My room was very comfortable and the view overlooking a portion of the parking lot to the mall was amazing. Will definately plan on staying again and recommend it to others.

I have stayed at this location multiple times and always have a wonderful experience. The rooms are kept clean and the staff is friendly and available to help with whatever needs you may have.
I congratulate the management for being on top of their employees and making sure that their location is a welcome and refreshing stay. Whether you're a casual visitor or in town for business I highly recommend a stay at this Holiday Inn Express!

we had no hot water on the morning we where leaving. We reported it but the staff at the front desk just wrote down our room number and said there was high usage of hot water that morning and a lot of other people had the same problem. We where not compensated in any way.

I like this hotel as it is close to where I need to work and have stayed here before. But at this stay the heater in room would not work and the hotel's inability or willingness to move became frustrating. The maintenance person would come in and re-set the heater and it would work for a couple of hours (I saw him do it so I could reset it myself in the middle of the night). Since the staff could not find me another room I cut my stay short and found another hotel where everything in the room worked. If this hotel can fix this problem it is a good value hotel.

Traveling is part of career. I've stayed at many hotels across the United States and Canada and this is my favorite so far! My coworkers also try to book at this location when traveling to this area, but due to its value and reputation it can be difficult to book at times. Always worth the value!

The Hotel is in a great location next to many resturants and shopping. The Hotel is always clean, the staff is very friendly and attentive. On my last stay it was nice to receive a note and a chocolate bar from the sales manager. The breakfast is great, the attendee always greets me with a "good morning" and the food service is excellent. The one recommendation that I would make is to make available Greek Yogurt with their breakfast selection.

Perfect stay in all ways for our Luxemburgish hockey team during our US tour in Michigan. Really service-minded staff and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast buffet with variations.

Room was very nice, on suggestion is when you have kids with you, you should have a sliding door or even a draw curtain between the bed and the living room.
It would make the whole experience better.
TV's should also be in sync with each other. Our TV's had 2 different guides and 1 only got 20 channels and the other got 50.
Maintenance man(who I couldnt understand) stated their is nothing to do to fix this???

Disappointed with our last stay. We didn't have a shower curtain in our room and had to wait over a half hour for someone to bring us one. Then the following day, no clean towels were left for us, and room was poorly cleaned. It appeared beds were made and that was about it. Very dissatisfied with this last stay.

I would recommend this location for anyone who is looking to get a goodnight sleep before tackling a full day of shopping in Auburn Hills, The staff were very professional and efficient at there jobs, The room was more than we expected, and for a family of four adults was plenty large enough. Room and overall hotel was bright and modern,with a surprisingly free breakfast that included hot and cold choices for everyone's taste.

We were only at the Holiday Inn for one night but, overall, our experience was very good.
Everyone was very friendly and polite - excellent customer service especially from the shuttle drivers which is so appreciated. We even had one driver from the hotel next door - how nice that everyone is able to help each other out!
I would highly recomment this hotel!

I stayed here for a "stay-cation" with my family.
We used the pool...basic, clean and proper temperature.
I thought the buffet breakfast was adequate and EXTREMELY well maintained.
The rooms were average, but clean. My kids loved the bidet toilets with heat seat.
Fantastic location next to the outlet mall and I-75.

I stay at this hotel over 30 nights a year for several reasons. The great location and the friendly staff. There are many Hotels in the Auburn Hills areas that are closer to my work but I always choose this hotel because it is withing walking distance to many shopping and dining options. Amy and her staff are always very helpful and they make an effort to great you by name which is a nice touch. On several occasions upon late checkin or coming back late from dinner, Colleen at the front desk, has insisted on making some fresh coffee or a fresh batch of cookies (that is the type of service level that generates repeat business). The hotel is always clean and the breakfast is nice and hot. My only advice to anyone considering a stay is to book in advance because this hotel sells out frequently.

We had such a great time as always!! very safe area and so close to the mall, dont have to worry about drinking and driving! Hotel has everythink you could possibly need, breakfast was great, thanks for the great stay holiday inn!! See you soon

Bed's were uncomfortable. Pull out couch extremely uncomfortable (all you could feel were springs). Toilet seat broken. Bad smell in hallways. Dirty bedspread. Room was above front door so very noisy. Mislead when booking as was told that it was a 2 room queen suite. Not 2 rooms at all - no separation of rooms at all.

I stayed at Auburn Hills for about 98 times in the past two years and the customer service has been great. The front desk personnel are always friendly and helpful. They would always honor my room preferences and go out of their way to make my stays comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were always neat and clean and the beds are very comfortable.
The location is great for shopping and a good variety of restaurants are available.

We had 16 in our party and you keep us all together, my husband forgot his razor and at 6:30 in the morning you had one there in less than 5 minutes. The people that work there are wonderful, polite and very curtious. It was a really good breakfast, good selection.

I took my wife and daughter shopping at Great Lakes crossing and an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn. I left the girls at the mall and I went to check in at 1:30 and was quite happy to see my room was ready. I was met by polite, helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. The room was nice but the real shocker came when I went to watch college football and found out that the hotel cable got ALL the ESPN channels. I had my choice of over 7 football games all day. Bonus!!!
The breakfast was nice and it saved me over $25.00. This was my second stay at this hotel and most certainly will not be the last.

The hot tub didn't work when it finally did it was not hot at all. The pool is supposed to be heated was ice cold. The tv in the excercise room was not working

The facility is nice, clean, good rooms and breakfast was comparable to other facilities. Hotel was close to various shopping malls & major stores. Access easy from the expressway. However, we did have an issue on check out time. We are and have been Platinum members for years, and have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. We had asked for a late checkout of 1400hrs and my wife was running a little late (on the phone, 1415 hrs) and the head staff cleaning woman demanded that my wife leave the room immediately. When my wife mentioned it to the hotel manager, manager, took a laissez-faire attitude, altho, she eventually apologized and stated she talked to the staff person. Her comment was that the room needed to be cleaned for the upcoming persons. I have traveled 2 weeks out of the month for the last few years and we have never had an issue like this before. When that has happened, arriving at a hotel and the room not being ready, they have always apologized, taken my luggage and let me know when room is available, not a big deal. I would recommend the staff review customer service policies and work on eliminating the rudeness and improve their etiquette talents.

Very convinient to the malls for shopping. Quiet room with good beds and lovely breakfast, something we've come to expect from Holiday Inn Express. Would stay there again.
