We were in the area to visit family and wanted clean budget accommodations and this hotel exceeded expectations. It seemed a tremendous value for the money. I picked this hotel based on high praise from fellow travellers and now would have to agree with them. The common room/breakfast area is modern and clean with nice furniture, individual tables as well as a tall counter with stools in front of the large screen TV, and has soaring ceilings which really adds a feeling of space. It has a little bit of the Hotel Indigo vibe. The breakfast options are plentiful and presented in a really organized, clean way. While the pillow cases read "soft" or "firm", they seemed the same to us. I would have preferred a flatter pillow, but quite honestly, I didn't ask. I kept forgetting so that was my fault and obviously it wasn't that big of a problem.

Love this place. Did leave my electric toothbrush charger, called back and the lady at the desk said she would email me instructions on how to have it shipped to me. Have not seen anything yet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by aed939 Clean property and friendly staff
The government per diem rate includes free breakfast and free wifi. Does not have mimi-fridge or microwave in room. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. It is a safe-feeling, clean hotel. Has pool and spa, and minimum fitness room (2 treadmills and a stationary bike), but there is a high school track 1/4 mile away. There are tons of restaurant and grocery choices at this interchange.

The only problems that I experienced is that the room did not have a microwave or a mini-refrigerator. The desk clerk advised me that military soldiers had taking the few that were on-hand.

Typically we drive right through from FL to NJ, for two reasons - you never know what type of sleep/hotel you will get and the cost. On this trip however we had extra time and decided it was best to get our sleep each night.
So glad we did - it was worth the nights sleep and morning breakfast.
The rooms were clean and quiet, the bed was clean and fresh - providing a good nights sleep. (we have rested on better, but we are spoiled when it comes to mattresses)
The food was provisioned well - typical hot

Very friendly and courteous front desk staff. Common areas and room very clean. Nice batheroom. Large room, but for size of room, should of had a bigger TV with more free channels, i.e. Hallmark was on demand. AC/Heating unit a little loud. Went to breakfast at 9:00 so it was near the end of breakfast time, therefore, eggs weren't really fresh. But, I truly enjoy Holiday Inn Express and would definitely stay there and other locations again.

I enjoyed my four night stay. My room was comfortable and clean. Access to the building was great.
The internet service was slow at peek use times. That was really the only difficulty I experienced.
The staff was friendly and the facilities were well cared for. Additionally, Holiday Inn Express in Augusta went the extra mile to meet customers needs by providing gluten free pastry options at their breakfast. I had not seen this before but greatly appreciated it!
I highly recommend this location.
