In Augusta to perform on the Morris Museum of Art's "Southern Soul and Song" concert series at the Imperial Theatre, which is located about two blocks away in downtown Augusta. The hotel was conveniently located, allowed parking for a tour bus (though our band traveled in a large van), and accommodated an early arrival. December 31, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful hotel and staff! It was an excellent experience from the time that I first called the hotel to ask some questions to checking in later in the evening. Tina at the front desk was most helpful and kind, and so was the security guard working the evening shift. I am sorry that I did not get his name, as he was also most helpful. All of the staff really stood out in a positive way. The rooms and hotel as a whole are so very nice. The room we were in was very comfortable and quite large. The next time we are in Augusta we will stay again for sure. December 21, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Staff need additional traning During my staff with the Holiday Inn Express, I paid the hotel with a check from the government agency in which I am employed. Prior to check out, I noticed that the customer service agent charged my debit card for the full amount of the stay including applicable sales tax. I had to call my bank and have them to speak with the General Manager at the Holiday Inn Express to reverse the charge made to my debit card. December 19, 2014
