Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Sleep - loud & hot & no internet for laptop I had prepaid for my room nearly a month before. The day of my trip I received a text confirming I was checked in for # 214. When I arrived,I was informed that room was not available and was assigned room 104, which was next to the exercise room. I asked for another choice and was told there was only one other room available that night - room 335. About 11 PM, major road repairs started outside my room, making it very difficult to get any sleep that night. Additionally, the drapers would not close all the way, which might have kept some sound and light out of the room. In addition the carpet was not tacked down in front of the bathroom, causing a potential tripping hazard. I was exhausted at my meeting that day and requested another room. I was told they would move my stuff and I mentioned I had about 6 magazines on my desk that I still wanted. When I got back from my meeting I was assigned to room 404, which was much quieter, but my magazines were missing and it was too late to find out from housekeeping what had happened. The heater was set to 66 degrees and I left it alone, as it would be comfortable enough for sleeping. The temperature outside dropped and the heater came on and did not stop. I woke up at about 2:30 AM and it must have been 80 degrees in my room making it very difficult to go back to sleep. ADDITIONALLY, I was unable to connect to the internet. I called tech support and he told me to disable my firewall (VERY BAD ADVICE THAT ANYONE WOULD KNOW). I have not had problems at any other hotel connecting my laptop to the internet. In spite of all the problems with the facility and the internet tech support, the desk staff was very helpful in trying to resolve matters, by getting me a different room the 2nd night, eventually finding my magazines right before I went home and arranging for a lift to the airport. This was supposed to be a "updated facility" but is missing the mark in providing a restful and productive environment for the traveling business person. October 14, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor value Expensive hotel for what you get. Room key failed 3 times, involving 2 return trips to desk hauling my luggage up and down. Air conditioner sounded like a 747 taking off every 5 minutes or so. Started to get out of the shower... Guess what, only had a wash cloth to dry off with. No towels. They offered to send them up "right away", but a little bit late for the need. October 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Friendly staff and helpful. The rooms were clean. The room was quiet and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was a typical breakfast like one you would get at another hotel similar to this one.I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay. The swimming pool is outdoors therefore it was closed during my stay. October 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Contemporary, clean hotel We have always stayed at Holiday Inn Express because of the beautiful decor, comfort, cleanliness, service and good breakfast. The rates are a little higher in the Denver area. Everything about this hotel was positive with the exception of some remodeling that needs to be done in the bathroom shower ceiling area. Otherwise, a great experience. October 10, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the Holiday Inn Express I Know The staff was nice but he experience was a hot mess. Room service when I didn't ask for it. Pool is closed and construction going on outside my window (and has been for a year since i stayed there last time). Food under the furniture (not moved for vacuuming obviously), door lock was terrible, outside exit lock was broken and left open (no out of order sign). I stay about 100 nights a year in hotels and this was not at all what i have come to expect from IHG hotels. October 7, 2014
