Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by helpful staff and great bed after hours of no luck finding a last minute room all over Denver, I drove up to this property and was thrilled there was only one room left with a "problem". this was a cracked ceiling surface that was crumbling and I could have it at a discount. I was thrilled. Staff was honest and helpful and I would rather have that as an issue and I had a great room and bed. While I was checking in, phone rang twice, they were looking for a room too. Just glad I was the lucky one! August 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Okay Hotel - Could be better First room I was put in was smelly and the AC front panel was off. They moved me nicely but never acknowledged that as a Platinum member they would upgrade me. AC in second room would not cool well and curtains did not close. Hotel carpets were a bit stained and hotel needed updating. Pool was nice but not warm. No hotel bill under door , staff said they were too busy. Went to grab something cold early since I had to go to work and breakfast staff was clearly bothered by me and rude. This is an okay place to stay, it was just not up to the standards that I expect of a Holiday Inn Express. August 15, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not All is Well I believe that the management at this Holiday Inn Express is not very good. The employee's seem to be understaffed when the it was there busy check in time. When a caller was talking to the front desk person the caller was rude but he was asking for the manager. The manager never appeared while I was standing a waiting to be checked in. I never saw the manager for my length of stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The problem is a management problem especially when strangers can be issued a key card for your room. Not very safe and you don't sleep well either. August 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 3rd time is the charm When I checked in Chris was so nice and friendly. However the first room he sent me to had a leak and the bed was flipped up . Room number two had been broken into and had a broken door and lock. Room three was fine however I was so nervous thinking about the first two rooms I didn't sleep well. I was hosting a job fair and explained to the front desk clerk what I would need and that I would need some copies. I found her rude and somewhat clueless. Talking to her was a chore. Later when two other ladies arrived they were much nicer and friendlier. Also the lady doing breakfast that morning was so sweet and nice she waited for me to get my food even though it was after 9:30. I appreciated that very much because I had lost track of time trying to get ready for my job fair. The next day however the breakfast lady was rude and seemed overwhelmed. When asked why the pancake machine wasn't working she became snappy. (It was out of mix) When asked if there was any more bacon she said simply "wait". I'm very disappointed overall and will not be returning. August 10, 2014

Although the bed seemed comfortable to me, my back didn't agree and every morning when I awoke, I had a terrible back ache. Even though my back ached, I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room, nice staff We stayed in this hotel for four days while visiting Denver. The staff was always helpful and friendly. A man named Gene, took care of us each day at breakfast. He kept all the breakfast foods stocked and always available to help. The only negative was that two of the four days we were there, after coming in from sight-seeing in the evening, we had no towels and had to get them from the front desk. Our sheets were not changed at all during the four days, either. The maid service did not seem to be the best that we have encountered in our travels. August 2, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn Express that I've stayed at When we travel, I always look for a Holiday Inn Express since we enjoy staying there and the quality is consistently great. This Holiday Inn Express was the worst experience that I've had. The door to the room wouldn't shut, and had to slam it several times to get it to latch. When I mentioned it to someone on the cleaning staff she said I had to close it "firm". Then, the A/C only cooled the room to maybe 76 degrees even when putting it on the lowest setting, so we were hot all night. Then to make it worse, several times during the night and day a loud noise would occur which sounded like a loud water pump. So, we woke up several times that night from the loud noise. In the morning, we had to leave around 6:45 for the airport and simply wanted some milk for our cereal and the staff member getting breakfast ready refused to unlock the fridge since breakfast wasn't until 7am. He was setting out food, etc so I'm not sure why unlocking a fridge was so beyond him. Needless to say, we would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it. July 29, 2014
